Madeleine McCann: The People Analyses The McCanns’ Holiday
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE PEOPLE: “WISH SHE WAS HERE”
EXCLUSIVE Maddie in parents’ hearts as they take the twins on first break without her. Moving pictures of holiday brave McCann family thought would be impossible to bear
The People has no little power and can look into the minds of the MCCanns and actually see what they are thinking.
For Kate and Gerry their three week trip to Canada could hardly be anything but a painful reminder of what happened in Praia da Luz in May last year. And Maddie did not leave their minds for a moment.
Fact.
Not for them the excitement and anticipation of other holidaymakers.
Fact.
Not for them the promise of time free from the stresses of workaday life.
Fact.
Norah, sister of Kate’s dad, said after waving off the McCanns: “They had a lovely time, very relaxing. It was all about them getting away. They really enjoyed being away from the spotlight. We spent a lot of time at the beach. The beaches here are beautiful.”
Fact.

The Mcs have made a hard bed for themselves on which they will always have to lay themselves down on. IMO. Yes, the twins will one day start thinking to themselves about what happened to Maddie. With a mortgage to pay on their house, Kate not working and she and Gerry flying around trying to get those votes, one question springs to mind and that is who pays their mortgage?

Oh, I missed the joke alright. Really thought it could be true!! Nothing would surprise me and everyone too! Why didn’t they just tell the kids Madeleine won’t be back, she has gone to heaven. Better to say that instead of, she had been abducted, or the real truth perhaps.

…anything can and has happened Lyn
Oi! they cant say that Madeleine wont be back….it would be an admission of the fact she ….is gone for ever. They”ve made enough “gaffes” as it is
The twins will never now the truth but one day,may be in later life they will look the truth themselves and they will find out….as we all know, the mccanns charged or not, will NEVER be able to escape suspicion from the entire world and some people are working very hard at it to make their life unbearable because they have taken the piss and very badly. They”ve conned the public, taken money from little pensionners who gave it in good faith, they”ve conned everybody but it will follow them wherever they go and forever

“They have suffered for far too long in this process and the Portuguese authorities must now lift their arguido status.”
He continued: “The police themselves must continue looking for Madeleine.
WHY should the PJ carry on “looking” for Madeleine?dont you have now very sophisticated new detectives? even better than M3 who are SICK of you lot?
aye! clarrie, clarrie YOU should shut up your filthy pink big gobs….oh yes

Parsley Isle Claims Get Spain’s Goat
A herd of goats has become the latest issue of contention in a bitter dispute between Spain and Morocco. Rajma Lachili, a Moroccan peasant, has demanded compensation from Spain’s defence ministry, claiming that crack troops who stormed the tiny disputed islet of Parsley in July killed…
As I sadi: its ideal for the mccanns

“Special monitoring by Clarrie”
***
Lyn,I was being sarcaUstic

They are having psychological help to deal with Madeleine”s disappearance”
Later on in life they will have “special media monitoring” under tuncle clarrie”s benevolent tutoring….who could possibly be the best at it?
Daddy will give them marketing classes as well and mummy will ….well….Id rather shut up….
July 13th, 2008 at 10:28 am
Word in Lagos (Algarve -agw) is that Paulo Rebelo and his team have solved the case, but the prosecutor has been ordered to close the case. No British subjects are said to have been involved in the disappearance, the source is usually very good, but I appreciate anything is possible with this case, just passing on from a good source.
Administrator: So nothing new then? The Rumour Mill still churns out the odd snippet and, I’m willing to bet, a great more before mid-August. We await with interest. -agw

Special monitoring by Clarrie. Poor kids. One would have thought monitoring would have been done by social workers though. Children bear the brunt don’t they, often. Life is so unfair for some.

The twins have had “special monitoring” when they went back to the uk,under the great and very precious Uncle Clarrie”s tuitions
Whatever “special monitoring” is,it does not sound “christian” does it?
They will be fed a very completely different version of the facts, what do you expect?
Poor little children, what have they done in their previous life to have such parents?

all this talk if being “shelved” reminds me of the well-washed cuddle cat
wot’s happened to the famous icon of cleanliness?
should the top shelf in the snug at the doom and pasty inn be renamed the cuddles?
should the odiates accept the procter and gamble sponsorship for clean toys?
is ted about to have a “sighting” in the lower field?
we should be trolled

Oh yes, what a mess there will be if someone starts digging. Of course, one would be surprised if anything was found. The Mcs have enough in the bank from the fund to buy, and will probably rent out the Rothley place, or turn it into a sightseeing thing, perhaps a restaurant or something, if allowed. In Canada they will have the Vica’s wife but probably not much else as they will always be viewed with suspicion. Yes, the twins won’t have much of a life poor kids.

The Mcs have only brought it upon themselves in they have to live in hell wherever they go. My concern is for those twins as it looks like they will be told untruths as to the whereabouts of Madeleine, and poor little kids, they will still be waiting for her to come back. When they get older and understand more, they will not trust the parents. There will always be a question mark too over that family with the MCs being regarded as suspects in Madeleine’s disappearance. A sad state of affairs for those children. IMO.

i agree about the escape plan and the fact that they will soon be hated universally in the uk so will need to do a runner
i love canada - been there several times
there is one problem in the scam though and that is selling rothley towers
they will not get a good price in the present housing market climate - even if they can find someone as odious as them to buy it and want to live in it
and then there’s the problem of the garden
what if someone starts digging…
such fun we have

That’s the new “in word” in Portuguese press Duncan “closed not shelved.
Seems like all these leaks are deliberate, the Portuguese authorities conditioning the populace for the case being binned………what the fuk is going down here, someone knows something, I’ve declared myself I think the priest and his bosses know something, but from where and about whom is the sixty four dollar question.
