Can shock tactics reduce knife crime?

I think they’ve missed the point - the kids carrying the knives don’t actually care - about their victims or themselves - they don’t think about consequences and have no regard for authority. What makes the Home Secretary think that the sight of a couple of stabbing victims will turn these idiots around and make them into good citizens…? they will laugh in her face, as they have no respect for her either. The problem goes a lot deeper than that and won’t be solved by showing these people what they have done - images a lot worse than this can be seen on the news every day, so the so-called “shock” value of these tactics is worthless.

Oh brilliant move - show people in graphic detail why it is a very good idea to carry a knife so you don’t end up like the example.

The Home Secretary has, regrettably, decided this without asking the hospitals, the hospital staff or the patients whether they will agree to it.
