Pole Jobs: Dancer Benefits From Robbie Williams And Declan Donnelly

“A POLE dancer who slept with Declan Donnelly and Robbie Williams has been exposed as a benefits cheat.”

So says the Daily Sport in a story that illustrates the country’s mores.

Readers now know that sleeping with TV presenter Declan Donnelly is on a par with sleeping with pop star Robbie Williams, and that pole dancing and pre-martial serial shagging are less shocking than claiming income support when in work.

The Sport says that Christina Benson has been arrested and charged with benefit fraud amounting to a “whopping £7,244”.

Says the dancer at Bournemouth’s club Wiggle, employing the best excuse ever delivered in a British newspaper: “I knew what I was doing was wrong but I’d never been on benefits before so equally I didn’t know what was right.”

Neither of Ms Benson’s alleged celebrity shags offer a comment, although Anorak invites readers to call our premium rate phone line to say if Benson is a) wrong and right or b) right and wrong.
