A Roller painted that colour and with that design looks rather tacky.A Rolls Royce is a wonderful car, and it will still be around and in demand when Obama(if he becomes President)has long finished his days in the White House. A Canadian friend has seen him give a speech and said that he is an “incredible” speaker. I personally think that won’t change things too much if he does become President. The American administration and its policies seem to be very set in their ways, and, the Presidency of Bush has done enormous damage to the USA around the globe. A RR is a car with a reputation and tested experience.Obama? A new guy on the political block.

Yes, but not really. The New Yorker uses illustrations for its covers so any “rejected” covers would have been illustrators roughs, not photoshopped pictures. It’s hard to see the point of this student spoof when nothing they’ve come up with is remotely as offensive as the actual cover.
