StrategyPage Says The War In Iraq Is Over
WHAT war in Iraq. This is the aftermath, stupid, says StrategyGate:
The war is basically over in Iraq, but the peace brings with it a return to the corruption and inefficiency that has cursed this part of the world for centuries. There are other annoying habits, like demanding “compensation” for any real or imagined loss that might possibly be pinned on U.S. troops. It’s also popular to demand, with a straight face, that U.S. troops fix utilities, schools and whatever else people want, but are unwilling to take care of themselves. Peace has not brought out the best in the Iraqi people.
We won.

Iraqi leaders do not want peace. Iraqi leaders want to carry on just as they have for the past few thousand years. The most dominant tribe dominate.
And I quite like a bit of autonomy myself! lol - At least we know who to fucking blame!
I don’t see the Allies ever considering wading into Saudi Arabia where the people truly believe that Kings are descended from Him on High!
At least the majority of Christians don’t believe that HM the QE is descended from ……. Or do they?
The US troops want to sue the Iraqis for having a fucking boring land-scape! It’s a wonder they don’t go potty looking at all that desert and ramshacle shacks!
I say prayers every night that they don’t end up on Prozac. The poor bastards don’t even see a leg never mind a pair of tits!
What the fuck are they fighting over? It’s like a beach without the sea!
It’s fucking unnatural where they live. What is the fucking pint in drilling wells and building schools in a desert?
Get down to the fucking coast and stop being ostriches. Technology won’t kill you and nobody will stop you beating your wife with a stick no thicker than your thumb. But at least you’ll get a sea-breeze and a choc-ice!
