Tax Credit Cheat Fingered In Court
POLICE LOG: Crime in the news…
IN Snaresbrook Crown court, tax credit cheat Remi Fakorede, who was convicted of a £925,000 tax credit fraud, pulls two fingers from her handbag and says they were once attached to her child but had fallen off following a curse.
And this important, because it was, she maintains, the voodoo cruse that caused her to participate in the fraud.
Fakorede was convicted of one count of fraud totalling £925,933, while one of her daughters, 21-year-old Denise Shofolawe-Coker, was found guilty of laundering £70,000 of the stolen money.

I believe the mising articles were located, or not located, in Africa, whereas Snaresbrook Crown court is not usually noted for the presence of spiritual pigeons, with or without a small tie.
Try buying Lone Pigeon a drink sometime and ask him about the Nigerian caper.
Not that he was involved, of course…
