MOST sightings of missing Madeleine McCann seem to involve Belgium and a paedophile ‘ring’ which might have kidnapped the child ‘to order’. Belgian police received more than 100 sightings, 30 of which required checking.

But the latest - by British businessman Trevor Francis, 64 - was on the Venezuelan island of Margarita. Nursing home owner Francis, who keeps a yacht there, says a girl he thinks was ‘Madeleine’ came into a restaurant with three women - all of Latin origin - and had the telltale blemish in her right eye.
He did.
In one sighting, the girl involved said she was ‘Maddie’ and had been taken from her mother. Yet the McCanns say Madeleine was never known as ‘Maddie’ to them. It’s an abbreviation devised by newspapers so the name will fit headlines.

Well - you will never guess - I have just returned from work - In Copenhagen - And swear I saw Madeleine with a woman - Then just a minute later I saw another - and another - So I got to thinking - does female & blond categorise quite a high percentage of northern european girls ?
I was sure though because she was pointing to her picture in the sun !!!
Just thought I had better tell someone…….

By plane - virtually impossible. Everyone has to have photo i.d. in some form or another.
By car - easy. There are no border controls anywhere in Continental Schengen-agreement Europe now.
So it has to be by car.
Which makes the idea of Belgian p - ring bringing a child from the furthest corner of the continent somewhat far fetched. (as it were !)

Note that Anorak has trimmed off the time on the photo, in the News of the World the time was 17.59.
Which leaves quite a tight time line.
5.30, K&G pick up M from the kids’ club.
6 pm, Tapas 7 at the Paraiso.
Gap of 2 hours 45 minutes. Tennis match/lesson? Payne visit? K gets the kids ready for bed. It gets dark about 8.30 (I think)
8.45 G says everyone was gathered at the Tapas Bar.
9.15 G says he checked. JW confirms G was near the apartment.
9.20 JT says she saw bundleman.
9.30 ROB apparently checks his apartment.
10 K raised the alarm.
At some point among this lot, according to the Portuguese tracker dogs, someone took M on a bizarre circular route around the apartments, down the rat run and along to the supermarket, a different route to that given by JT.
what a conundrum!

So, it wasn’t only the McCann’s missing at Paraíso. Dianne Webster wasn’t there neither. What was she doing [and with whom]? Why did she stay at the table later that night when everyone dashed off? Why haven’t we ever heard of her again?
Are the statements already available on the internet? I’m very, very curious still to read the questions which WERE answered …
