MOST sightings of missing Madeleine McCann seem to involve Belgium and a paedophile ‘ring’ which might have kidnapped the child ‘to order’. Belgian police received more than 100 sightings, 30 of which required checking.

But the latest - by British businessman Trevor Francis, 64 - was on the Venezuelan island of Margarita. Nursing home owner Francis, who keeps a yacht there, says a girl he thinks was ‘Madeleine’ came into a restaurant with three women - all of Latin origin - and had the telltale blemish in her right eye.
He did.
In one sighting, the girl involved said she was ‘Maddie’ and had been taken from her mother. Yet the McCanns say Madeleine was never known as ‘Maddie’ to them. It’s an abbreviation devised by newspapers so the name will fit headlines.

The Sun reveals sketches of a couple seen last June in Holland with a girl who called herself Maddie.

logical and senseless, worn unwashed clothing is likely to have more scent than a towel used to dry a child just out of the bath.

i agree, the last sighting was a security guard wasnt it? Why on earth did he not radio for someone, or simply as the lady to stop a while, or even better, shout MADELEINE. All these people always have an excuse not to do anything, its pathetic!

Just how many countries, islands or not, has this girl not been sighted in? The witness is usually positive it is her but does little or nothing at the time - the girls who have been traced never look all that like her and we all feel we know that little face so well.
Do organised paedo rings take their victims into cafes for milkshake, by tram to the beach, shopping for shoes in street markets etc? Are they molesting her or treating her like a princess? Everything in this case gets sensationalized and the mundane/statistically likely theories are not popular with the media.

It was a ground floor apartment. It was night time. The back door was unlocked. It was next to a creepy pathway. No one saw Madeleine for an hour.
If parents did that all the time then the statistics for children abducted from their beds would be far higher - paedos go where it’s easy to get kids.

Karen, one couldn’t have had it any easier than that! Ground floor, door unlocked, walk in, grab the child, cover her mouth, and get out with her in less than a minute.
However, people on here have said about seeing the UK people leaving their children alone while down in the pub drinking in the UK and abroad so….People do it all over, Karen, in various ways leaving their child or children alone for awhile thinking it is quite safe.

May I repeat once more that I can not imagine that 1] Kate would use a separate towel for each and everyone and 2] this “separate” towel would still be in the bathroom after 5 [five] days …

Malta is an island - so was the Caribbean sighting on an island but I forgot something. Madekeine was not taken by any old abductor - she was “snatched to order” by an organised paedo ring who no doubt have all that planned in advance.
