Rosemarie… I find it strange that she has not been found one way or another. Very strange and of course sad.

Good Morning, C&C! Unfortunately, I don’t find it strange they haven’t found her body yet. If she was taken by and then her life taken by a ’sick human creature’ her body may well have been dumped in the ocean and unfortunately nothing would be left after the sea creatures were done - a small child’s remains would not be left as likely to wash up to shore as possibly any part of an adults. However, if there is that very remote possibility she is alive she will be kept well hidden and I doubt anywhere in Portugal or nearby countries.

I didn’t miss your remark the other week either when you mentioned someone could borrow your steel tipped boots, just filed it away in my memory.

Quite simply the press have made a song and dance about these sightings and hence the quick resolve.

Whilst the investigation was being carried out by the Portuguese we do not know how much credance was given to any of the reports and therefore whether investigations were passed on to interpol.

I find it interesting that all of these sightings have been quickly eliminated by the police as they find the real people in the pictures and identifits. The press must be spitting feathers as the stories do not take on a life of their own and run for days. This however makes me think that if the police are so efficient in their endeavours, why must they have been incompetent while the investigation was running?
