The Harmless Sky blog has discovered that support for the catastrophic global warming case is official BBC policy. Tony quotes a BBC report as follows:
The BBC has held a high-level seminar with some of the best scientific experts, and has come to the view that the weight of evidence no longer justifies equal space being given to the opponents of the consensus [on anthropogenic climate change].The details of the seminar are, as one might expect from an organisation like the BBC which holds the public in such contempt, a secret. An FoI request has revealed that uber-warmer, Lord May, was the driver behind the decision, but the rest of the details are only going to be revealed if the Information Commissioner can force them to toe the line.

It’s not just bias. It’s outright propaganda.
BBC-types need something to lecture the public on to make them feel righteous and in control - but other issues might make the audience angry, which would dent their smugness.
And they’re total hypocrites. I was in their Scottish HQ and the place was full of T.V. screens and was giant, had the heating on and was very brightly lit - it’s carbon footprint must be enormous. And if that’s the Scottish branch - how much energy does the London HQ consume???
Having said that - it’s probably safer to keep the interfering classes bugging us about climate change or else they might go back to bugging us about sex and drinking and having fun.
