Madeleine McCann: Tourist Has New Pictures Of Tapas 7 For Sale
PAULO Reis has published an interesting piece of information on the Madeleine McCann case on his site. Read on:
“McCann case: 24 pictures that may help to re-open the case
A tourist who was (allegedly) at the Tapas Bar, on the night of May 3, took several pictures where the table with the McCanns and their friends is visible.
The tourist was with his wife and another couple and they took pictures from each other, with the McCann table on the background.
The owner of the pictures is (said to be) negotiating with several British newspapers to sell the rights for an exclusive publication, but with a condition: before being published, the pictures must be sent to the Portuguese police.
The tourist is well aware that the pictures may have important evidence related with a crime and not sending it to police is considered also a crime, in his country.
Yesterday, a well known legal office from UK (allegedly) knew about the existence of those pictures and contacted the owner, offering to buy all pictures for 600,000 Euros. But the British lawyers didn’t accept the condition set by the owner – that the pictures should be sent to the Portuguese police, just before the transaction. The lawyers’ office wanted to be free to choose the moment when the pictures would be send to Portuguese authorities, so the offer was refused by the tourist.“

Assuming that the above is true and genuine, it begs the question, when exactly did ‘British lawyers’ feel that they were able to dictate when information in a criminal case should be handed over to the police? Is Madeleine not a Ward of Court, are they not officers of the court? Do they not have a duty to the court - the British court - not just the Portuguese court, to instantly hand over any information that may be pertinent to solving the riddle of what happened to Madeleine.
I have mixed feelings regarding the purchase of information when it is done by newspapers, but is this a new era, that information is being purchased by lawyers, who then decide what to do with it?
Why has the tourist not come forward before?
What or whom, is, or is not, in those photographs that makes them worth 600,000 euros.
Where is the 600,000 euros coming from - the last we heard the McCann Find Madeleine fund was down to it’s last 480,000 euros.So it could not possibly be the legal firm involved with the McCann Fund…could it?
One other question would be if the tourist sold the pictures to a legal firm intent on suppression - would the gent have his collar felt?

Until recently hubby was chair of our parish meeting, before we could get to the health & safety bits we had weeks and weeks of bloody villages disagreeing ( about the village green grass cutting).
- mustn’t cut it while until the daf’s have died back - cut it it looks a mess
- don’t cut under the trees - wild flowers - cut them they look a mess
- have a ‘border’ - looks like corby town centre
- cut it once a week - once a month
etc etc etc - so eventually we decided to p* off some people and just get on with it.
Some of us even voluteered to do a cutting rota, but NO what if one of us has an accident, the parish insurance won’t cover ‘voluteers’ (unless the lawnmower has been thoroughly checked and training done and records complete, mustn’t work alone etc etc etc).
So in the end it was easier just to pay a firm to do it for us.
Its a load of B* designed to put off the most enthusiastic community member, only the ‘jobs worths’ stay involved and go onto local councils etc etc. Which is why they are so cr*p and why mr & mrs Joe blogs can’t even be bothered to vote.
Shame really - I love the french attitude that people are capable of making their own desicions and taking responsibility for their own actions. Like real grown ups.

It is a bit unusual to take 24 photos of a couple sitting at a table in a restaurant. Maybe these photos include more than just images taken in the restaurant, but also outside during the course of a couple of days?
Its not unusual ………………if they were stills taken from a video? Maybe the Video recording also picked up voices from that table. Maybe a devious plot was being discussed and after 15 months the audio has been digitally enhanced enough for the convo to be heard. (A new technique, ironically found by bouncing background noise of off double glazing windows).

Its not unusual ………………if blood was noticed on one of the people at the table.

The quality of life in the North West is second to no other area in the UK!
At least my car doesn’t have to wait ten minutes in a side road to get onto a main carriageway.
And I don’t have to wait half an hour in a queue at Marks and Spencers.
The only trouble with the whole of the UK is - we have too much cannon-fodder stored up!
Get the cannon-fodder in the forces. Force the lazy bastards into employment.
Make people pick up their own litter and look after their own pets. Stop dressing kids up to look like adults.
Reclaim the land from land-owners who cannot be arsed to look after their own land. Get it drained to stop flooding and build some bloody houses on it.
There is bugger all wrong with the North that can’t be fixed by having our own Parliament!.
