well I never seen any and I think it’s a bit extreme to ban the enjoyment for the majority. People know nowadays that they face a stern punishment for air rage or anything to do with getting into trouble on a plane. Banning drinking is not the way.

LP.. the two main fighters were ‘controlled’ by cabin crew eventually and put in seats at the very rear. Then they were just allowed oof as per normal. many passengers were steaming……..
I used to be cabin crew many years ago (we were called Air Hostesses then) and it was mostly old drunks sticking their hands up your skirt…. now its all real aggro.

I was on a Virgin flight a couple of years ago when a fight kicked off among a group of youngsters. Very scary. The thought of what could happen and the fact that there is no escape from the idiots is frightening.
Which comes first? alcohol or safety?

I’ve been flying all my life and have never seen one incident or heard one incident of bad behaviour onboard a plane. How was the fight dealt with?

Hang on hang hang on. What is wrong with serving alcohol on airplanes? Are you saying because of the minority it should be banned for the majority who know how to have a drink without losing the plot?

Something that constsntly onfounds me on reading the same headlines over and over and over again…….

Why is alcohol still served on aircraft? Do we need alcohol on tap in the air? champagne on take-off? a bottle of wine with our meal? brandy after?
Do the airlines really need the extra few bob from on board drinks?

And as for getting pissed before take-off and the airlines still accommodating them…. come on.
If they can ban smoking I’m sure they can ban alcohol….
