The contrasting fates of the children in these two cases raised the most awful conundrum: would it be kinder for such families to know their child is dead, to retrieve her remains for a proper burial in a consecrated grave where they might mourn and pray for her, or to never know what became of her, the better for hope to remain? Such unthinkable dilemmas are universal; the cases of Briton Madeleine McCann last year, American Jon- Benet Ramsey in 1996, and even the Azaria Chamberlain “dingo” case in Australia 28 years ago, all strike to the same depth of anguish.
Ramsey was fond dead 8 months after she went missing. Chamberlain’s body was never found.

just goes to show.
i spend couple of days fucking about trying to get my dick dastardly to work and anorak implodes while i’m gone.
i’ve read 3 days back and the forums and i’m still no wiser as to what’s gone off except that fair seems to think she’s chief moderator after complaining she couldn’t get in anorak because she was posting with two names at once.
seems to me it’d solve a shitload of trouble by simply closing the thread down and giving the rest of the news a look in.

your mobile service just connects you to the internet.
from then on, using anorak should be exactly the same providing you use the same name when you post.
it should be no different from posting from home and from work, as the ip address doesn’t matter but the login name does.

If it was a wig that the group already had for some originally innocent purpose (eg fancy dress party) and JT was an innocent witness, might she not have recognised this wig and its wearer? ?
