A YEAR after the abduction and murder of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, we must take pause to observe this sad anniversary in all sympathy for her bereaved family — as indeed for that of Sharlinie Nashar, lost in similar circumstances eight months ago and not yet found.

The contrasting fates of the children in these two cases raised the most awful conundrum: would it be kinder for such families to know their child is dead, to retrieve her remains for a proper burial in a consecrated grave where they might mourn and pray for her, or to never know what became of her, the better for hope to remain? Such unthinkable dilemmas are universal; the cases of Briton Madeleine McCann last year, American Jon- Benet Ramsey in 1996, and even the Azaria Chamberlain “dingo” case in Australia 28 years ago, all strike to the same depth of anguish.
Ramsey was fond dead 8 months after she went missing. Chamberlain’s body was never found.

Jass, I took no offense in what you said. I’ve been called a few things in my life from a bitch to a sweet bitch to a few other ‘endearing’ names but I can assure you never a dyke!
I hadn’t much time to follow today except to glance at the site a few times but not keep up on the exchanges or understand half of them especially when it came to ’signs’ people were born under and what it all means.
Not sure what you mean by fan/supporter. Doesn’t really matter one way or the other to me. I think though that C&C, Maria, Garth, Gandolf, myself and maybe one or two others have all taken the same stand and not faltered from it since the get go.
Well got to get back to looking after my standard poodle all curled up in the corner facing the wall and ignoring me. I got tired of chasing him around the neighborhood when he struted his stuff thinking he was cock of the walk and took him to the vets early this morning …

Probably a bad translation. Catalina explained, in Spanish, if there is a hija (daughter) and a “hijo”(son), when you speak of them both you would say “hijos”, masculine. It probably is the same in Portuguese. We have the same in French. It is a French grammar rule : “le masculin l’emporte sur le féminin” (the masculine prevails over the feminine). If you speak of your son and your daughter together, you will say “ils”, not “elles”.

and yes, i am the hunter, but i like my ladies to play hard to get, it is all in the chase.
Rams are alo very fierce and hotheaded, with tempers. but only when sorely provoked.
two of the warthogs have given birth to 11 little piglets, they are so beautiful, but we can only watch them from the jeep, an angry warthog mummy is not to be trifled with.
all the game females are pregnant. we have also in the last two weeks become the proud parents of 43 lambs, i worry that we will get a very cold snap, the ewes and lambs are put into the barn every night.
