Madeleine McCann: Angelia Jolie’s Changeling, Oakely International And Belgian Paedos
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann
MAIL On SUNDAY: “McCANNS’ FUND IN £500,000 CHAOS.”
A team of private investigators working behind the scenes to find Madeleine McCann has been axed after being paid £500,000 from publicly donated funds.
Metodo 3?
The Find Madeleine Fund quietly engaged the services of a US-based company which was awarded the lucrative six-month contract earlier this year. The company, Oakley International, which boasts former British security service and FBI contacts, was hired to monitor the Madeleine Hotline, carry out detective work and review CCTV footage of possible sightings of the missing girl around the world.
Like Metodo 3. And the police?
A source revealed that the company had also spent resources in an attempt to infiltrate a paedophile ring in Belgium.
A risky endeavor. Did they find any paedos?
However, the company’s contract will now not be renewed. The Mail on Sunday has learned that double-glazing tycoon Brian Kennedy, who has been underwriting the fund’s search for Madeleine, has conducted a review of the agency’s work and has become unhappy with the progress it was making.
What progress. A child is missing. And they have no idea what happened to her.
INDEPENDENT: “McCann fund ‘paid detectives £500,000′”
Cheaper than the police operation, though.
DAILY STAR: “JOLIE’S SUPPORT TO MADDIE MUM”
NEW mum-of-twins Angelina Jolie wants to set up a meeting with the mother of missing Madeleine McCann.
Is our Maddie in a Vietnamese orphanage? Ange has been moved before.
The nightmare of Kate and her husband Gerry was brought home to the Hollywood star while shooting her new movie Changeling. In the film, she plays the mother of a missing child who becomes the focus of a massive FBI search.
And what happens..? Hey, let’s not get some cheap PR for a new film. Steady…
The friend added: “Angelina and Brad are really struck by the way her parents have moved heaven and earth to get the world on the look-out for their little girl.
“I think Angie just wants to give Kate a hug and say a few words of support from one mom to another. She doesn’t pretend she possibly knows how Kate feels but she does have an inkling now and she realises the absolute nightmare the McCann family is going through.”
Pray for Maddy. Pray for all of us…

Chenier, do you think the Church will sue them?
August 24th, 2008 at 3:14 pm
afternoon all
been away so out of touch again…
looks promising that kennedy is putting his foot down about wasting money on crap detectives
i think the wretches now have a problem of their own making
they are too chicken to ask for the pj to re-open the investigation
so all the pj need to do is sit back and wait for the next lot of “experts” that they employ not to find the body - just like all the others - then off we go again
then they can sack them for being crap
i only hope all the loot on the slush fund is used up by them
i would have thought that even thick skinned bastards of the odious ilk would have realised that everyone is sick of their pathetic “sightings” scam
excellent fun though
i love it…
M and A
Ade apparently they did make a request for the case to be reopened, but it isn’t closed, just low profile. They have until 20th Sept anyway.
But ethically should the Portuguese tax payer be funding this anyway - it would be seen as a big step if the McC made a contribution , apart from leaving the kids in the first place……

Ola, that’s a bit old; what about the sacking of the super team so enthusiastically hailed by the Sun et al in the Belgian fiasco?
Not least because the Mail has a dig at them wasting money trying to infiltrate a non-existent Belgian paedophile ring as if it were a bunch of psychotic football supporters…
_____________
Understand what you are saying, Chenier, but read the link below. Do you actually think they are non-existent in Belgium?

HOTWATER!!! LOL! Does your work involve you in a diplomatic role? I know what you are saying.
I would have used the words FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE where you state ‘highly implausible’ - but I’m an oick and not very well.

Four people in the street, Jane, Abductor, Gerry and Jez.
Jane sees the abductor, Gerry and Jez.
Gerry and Jez see each other but see neither Jane nor the abductor.
A HIGHLY IMPLAUSIBLE scenario IMO.

OLA ……. We all know that the parents had/have no intention of asking the PJ to carry on searching.
If they had any intention of helping - they would have attended the re-enactment! Full stop.
Somebody at some point will make sure that this whole case is brought to Court.
But it will not be a Garth or a Gandolf that leads some other Fuck-Wit or Half-wit to do the leading questions that lead to the ……. that lead to the …… that lead to Court and involve Anorak.
No matter how much they spend on the internet trying to befriend and pretend to be normal well-adjusted posters.

” (… )I am even going to reveal a secret that no one knows: on the day that the, “Sun,” disclosed the videos on its site, the Belgian police had already been advised that the child had been found and was not Madeleine!! So, the detectives lied to their employers, who must indeed be naive. In that case, they should be sacked. It is not normal to keep spending money on detectives who lie, instead of investing in the search for Madeleine. Or else, these words have no other purpose than to pull the wool over the eyes of the public to make them believe that the new detectives are better than the police, thus preparing the public for what we dread: the parents have no intention of asking the PJ to continue searching!!!! ”

And now quickly back to the “famous” French Sunday lunch …
[famous for lasting sometimes till 5:30]

Meercat, Yampster’s right. That’s “naughty” …
Anyway, I seem to remember that they got [for free] another apartment at MW’s OC until they [finally] moved to a rented villa.
Remember also having read somewhere, but cannot bother to search right now, that GM would still go to Tapas for his “free” drinks …

Hi Guys! Sorry for not replying Sam - but my garden has been devastated by last night’s rainfall and the neighbours have been round with a ladder to tend the rose trees for me because they are so old and such a feature.
Sam - Trust me it was business sense!
I was sure that I heard that MW were overly-gracious - even dragged a load of Damage-Limitationers into the fray.
The reason I know this, is becaise I made set of Whispering Damage Limitationer Dolls.
They were really cute and not like the other dollies which have very striking personalities all of their own! The Whispering Damage Limitation Dolls just sort of hang about making sure that the rest of the dollies don’t get out of hand.

what film coco ?
August 24th, 2008 at 12:42 pm
coco, not sure if it was business sense or more to do with the laws governing the registration of a charity, which don’t allow such for a single person.
August 24th, 2008 at 12:38 pm
meercat, was that for the week they booked, in which case it would’ve been prepaid, or for the duration of their stay ?
August 24th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
Good Morning to all.
Dear dear dear. How long have we wanted to know where all the money was going? How many times have we been kept in the dark about the M Fund?
What a jolly good and super-duper idea it was to ensure that the Fund was not a charity. What utterly fabulous business sense!
And as for GM’ statement regarding the ‘long term’. - Fucking hell!
He’s like a Doris Stokes reincarnated!
What happens at the end of that fim then eh???
August 24th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
marie n, i haven’t seen a single wristband or t-shirt in real life, so i’ve idea if they sell or not.
August 24th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
sorry anorak, seem to have made an unsubstantiated claim there, if the mccanns want to sue you can pass them on my email.
August 24th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
Definately “20% off family” deal that week
August 24th, 2008 at 12:29 pm
“on the madeleine store the wristbands they sell cost 2 pounds each”
Sam, I can’t believe some people still buy them!
Mind you,we are still posting on that wretched topic, just telling each onther how cheated we feel… (The Esplendor de la Forma site says the police, though they have suspended the investigation into the case, are still attentive to anything new).
Now that we have been told the reason why the MCs had to drop their new superteam of detectives, what news are we being prepared for? They can’t afford the top people they need in their search. Not because there is no hope of finding the missing child, but because those people are too expensive. Should the Fund be given more money? Are they going to ask the PJ to re-open the invetigation, for lack of money to pay some better investigators? Have they been too generous and too naive in their hope to find their daughter?
August 24th, 2008 at 12:23 pm
penster, i don’t know, i did read no bill was made, and that could be wrong of course. i don’t remember where i read it.
August 24th, 2008 at 12:18 pm
i forgot to add, cost 30p each if you buy in bulk of a thousand, costs a bit more if you order less.

“………. the wristbands and tshirts, they had to be purchased. some flights were sponsored. i read mark warner did not present them with a bill while they were staying there”.
—————————————————————————–I could never understand why the wristband thingys and poster downloads had to be paid for yet again as they had already been paid for by what was already in the donated fund …..it was after all imperative for them to get M’s “image” dispensed urgently!!
August 24th, 2008 at 12:00 pm
Sam I heard that Mark Warner gave them the 20% off family deal
August 24th, 2008 at 11:51 am
wages would be quite an expense, some of the trustees gave up jobs to manage the company (the fund is a limted company) and i assume, then, would be drawing wages from the company’s fund on a monthly basis.
