Bysh fled the resort — near where Madeleine McCann disappeared in May 2007 — but collapsed with kidney problems in Portimao 15 miles away.
That close, eh. Yesterday the incident was 25 miles from where our Maddie went missing. Such are the facts.

You mean Rose Ron’s grandfather who told police that he had killed the 4-year-old?

I must admit that i share peoples anguish that the McCanns were wrong to leave the tots alone, on their own, in a dark, damp and inhospitable place.

My swearing is not there to offend or endear me to anybody - I was brought up with it and it is perfectly natural to me. If you read all the other posts I have made on other threads - you will have noted that I have stated several times that there is a time and a place for swearing.
I naturally assume that we are all grown-up and savvy enough on Anorak to accept that expletives are a part of every day life and since we have no way of seeing each others faces and tones of voice - we can use swear words to give rapid connotational value to our posts without having to go all around the houses to get next door.
I rarely if ever get the chance to keep flicking back to Anorak as often as I have this past few weeks, because of work commitments - so it’s far easier to paint a picture with a few carefully chosen words.
You must have noted that the intelligent, savvy posters on here don’t have a problem with swearing. Having always knocked about with very creative, very rich and very poor people I am well-placed to say that I hear it in all walks of life all the time.
Very rarely, a couple of posters will tut and cluck amongst themselves and then offend me with horrific statements about people whom they know fuck all about. So it’s swings and roundabouts really.
I am sure that nobody in their right mind can be arsed to trawl bacjk through old posts - but before you fall into the same trap as the Gailen types and make sweeping statements about my insulting posters - you should check back! Then you will see that I only have go at people who are mocking other people or myself.
I never have the first dig! Nor do I ever convey my opinions on here. I am too judgemental to have ever ever held an opinion in my life - and I resent that remark as much as you dislike my swearing and supposed insults. I am never opinionated - I use facts - I am judgemental and very un-PC.
If I have heard and seen the Clan say or do something on the telly - that is my fact. The police files are now my facts.
So take your supercilious, silly and self-righteous words and cut and paste them for others to read tomorrow so that they are aware that you tried your best to defend them - and remember that this is a seriously satirical site and not a cosy chat-room for people to chunner to each other in.

You have good and creative come-backs, sometimes, and I’m sorry that you were brought up in such a way that foul language was the norm (apparently). It is still not necessary.

Can anyone believe that not one of the Tapas7 has acknowledged any contact with the McCanns on May 3rd until 6.30 pm when Gerry was chatting to someone? on the tennis courts and it was at the Tapas bar after 8.45pm, before Kate had any contact.
One would think on a group holiday with appartments so close there had to be some sort of contact over twelve hours.
Tanner? made a comment about seeing 10 blonde girls all looking the same on that day, which I think was strange too. Covering her arse?
Did one of the men go on a fishing trip that day too. Way out to sea?

If Gailen has an opinion about Amaral, she has the right to have it. Not everybody holds him in high esteem. I personally don’t. Not because he has 30 or so years experience, makes him an excellent example of what the PJ is. I work with people who have been in their position for years, but they are still inept or don’t really know what they are doing.
Your personality, as well as Gailen’s, comes out too. Swearing is rife in your posts, Coco, as well as others’. I don’t think it is necessary to insult others to convey your own opinions or beliefs.

Daisy. I entirely agree with you. Tonights rumblings started with a new poster called Gailen who trounced Amaral. She did not like a reply that I made in defence of him - and then her personality came out. lol
Great fun for observers like myself - but boring for other posters.
Hopefully, they will not tire of repeating themselves - and who knows the Clannies may finally then tell us their own story - which they were desperate to do all the time - until The Files were made available to the public.
Everybody on this thread should at least be hoping that M is found dead or alive and that is not going to happen whilst people are sniping about who makes spelling mistakes. Bizarre!

If you read my posts you will see that I have just had my nails done and am missing letters all day today. I am not concerned about your spelling. A spelling mistake or bad grammar is never an issue on Anorak.

I really would like to know what a good “Anorakian” is !?
After reading back through this thread, it seems to me that it would be someone who likes to attack people of opposing views to themselves, who likes to use swear words on many of their sentences, who likes to be centre of attention for some reason, who is somehow convinced that they are being funny, but don’t realize that some of what they write is actually quite silly and boring. Are they young? … Are they old?
I just know that some posters think that it is their right to post here, but it isn’t others?
No one should be here to abuse others for not believing the same they do. The use of foul language, in my humble opinion, only reveals lack of vocabulary on their part.
This site is to a great extent anti, with some of us still sitting on the fence and a few others totally pro. What does it really matter? If we all thought about this case the same way, there would not be any debate. In the end, we all just want to know the truth to what happened to Maddie and for the guilty ones to face the music.
I agree with some posters that some M & A seem to accept certain behavior/wording from some but not from others. I was myself pulled into line by M &A for using the word “hatred” in a post, but I have read much worse than that before and after; insults fly back and forth between some posters.
Is this what an “Anorakian” is about?

Fortunately my own Offspring is highly skilled in the martial arts and therefore the protection thing tends to be the other way round. Anyone attacking me would find themselves in immediate need of medical attention.
