How does Madeleine McCann fit in?
Bysh fled the resort — near where Madeleine McCann disappeared in May 2007 — but collapsed with kidney problems in Portimao 15 miles away.
That close, eh. Yesterday the incident was 25 miles from where our Maddie went missing. Such are the facts.

You mean Rose Ron’s grandfather who told police that he had killed the 4-year-old?

Police say the grandfather has admitted killing the child and dumping her in a river, but no body has been found and there is no forensic evidence proving her death.

Jes Wilkins sighting of a woman in a purple dress was earlier on that evening, as I understand it. If you have read that Mr Wilkins positively identified Jane Tanner at the time she saw the strange man then I would be interested to see the link for this.
You see, in my view it would be very difficult for Jane to see Jes and Gerry but for them not to see her. Try it for yourself - its not easy unless you are peeping out from behind a lamp post.

Um, it’s one doctor, right? I believe her husband said he did not take the conversation to be about a child, right? And his wife says she kept, not Madeleine’s parents, but a third party from her children while they were bathing, no? And, even if such unsupported evidence could be presented against Madeleine ’s parents in some sort of new “guilty by association” charge, the witness would then be in a fair amount of trouble for not having reported such suspicions to the overseeing body for medical professionals, no? I mean, that would be a VERY big violation here.

agree though that in jt’s statement right from the start she describes bundleman carrying a barefooted child in pj’s which may have had a pattern on them. i haven’t checked but i think she said the pj’s were white.

About the lighting: A year later the witness statement is made public, and “She was WRONG!” becomes “She couldn’t possibly have been RIGHT under those lights!”???

abraham, so many conflicting reports, one doesn’t know what to think often. maybe the pariso photo was taken on a differnt day. i do think one of the children in it looks like madeleine, the other child closest in age to her is jt’s daughter, who is somewhat smaller i think and has darker hair.

MN, I’m sorry; I don’t mean to offend you, especially when you’ve been so helpful with the translations, but several people came forward in Austria to say they had suspected something, that the father was always a pervert or a jerk or scary, that they had been denied needed access to the cellar, etc., etc., etc. Further, I believe these anecdotal witness accounts were supported by previous charges for sex crimes, no?

I can see your point, but it doesn’t always work that way : think of the Austrian father who kept his daughter locked in the basement, and gave her I can’t remember how many children. Nobody would have said anything against him before.
In the MC’s case, K MC’s own mother didn’t seem to know they left the children alone at night.
Anyway, very few people think they hurt the child, most people think it could have been an accident, which means they aren’t murderers with a devious personality.

Your English is very good and everything you write is perfectly understandable.
If you are really wanting it to be perfect, then here’s a few very trivial errors.
The McCann couple has 3 children - The McCanns have 3 children.
During no dinner did the witness or her husband go to their appartment - Neither the witness nor her husband ever went to their appartment whilst at dinner
The witness states that Kate and Gerry, went to the club to see if the children were all right, several times and regularly - The witness states that Kate and Gerry went regularly to their apartment to see if the children were all right.

If you want to make interesting comparisons try the Sarah Payne case, the parents’ evidence would have been something like “our children were out playing with others, our son saw our daughter going home on her own, no one saw her after that.”
Or Soham - “our daughter went out with a friend, they should have been back ages ago, we’ve phoned everyone we could think of, we’ve looked everywhere, we don’t know what’s happened to her.”
Short and to the point, no mish-mash, all corroborated, no contradictions.
