A British man told police that her mother Stephanie Bysh, 44, had been ‘drinking heavily’… The town is five miles from Praia da Luz, where missing toddler Madeleine McCann disappeared in May last year from a rented apartment.
Yes, just five miles.
Yesterday, it was all just 15 miles from where our Maddie went missing.
The day before that it was all occuring 25 miles from Praia da Luz.
Anorak estimates that inside week, little Ariella will be actually inside the apartment used by the McCanns that fateful trip…
Such are the facts…

You said it very kindly, and no - I don’t jump at the idea Madeleine was always unkempt.
I just think that in most photos, she doesn’t seem to be that “loved, precious, pampered” IVF child the McCanns like to suggest she was to them.
As I said before, if I didn’t know better, I would never guess she was an adored only child at one stage….even if it was for less than 2 years.
I’d think from the photo and verbal evidence she was the not-very-loved stepkid of one or the other (probably Gerry, if I had to say).
Kate seems to find it hard to find a good word about her.
Just a trailing, unconvincing, “She’s loovly…”

jass, don’t read too much in the photos. busy children get unkempt and dirty. it is not natural to wash a child before a snap shot is taken is it ? but i do think in the photos she does look shy often and not at all like a child who is hyper and difficult.

In one of the “Madeleine at door of PdL plastic castle” pix, even the McCanns’ greatest supporters would have to admit photo-shopping of the castle door, which has been completely changed in colour/shape/background set-up to match the scenario at the Portuguese playground.
It makes you wonder whether the pix were actually taken at a similar plastic castle in, say, Leicester.

Brilliant to put on the pic.
Can’t you see that M’s right leg is half missing?
Her knee just isn’t there? And her foot looks like a left-hand shoe has been stuck on.
Plus the shadows of the tree, the taker of the photo and other stuff is all wrong.
Sean has that weird line going up from behind him into the trousers of MrMystery, and the couple walking by are as tall as that chap….but would have to be 7ft to fit the scenario.
Other threads have much more detail, about this and the photo-shopping of the other PdL playground shots that do not add up!

i know!
just had to wait by the looks.
i’ve just put ubuntu linux on my pc as well as windows as well.
seems really good.
all you do is install it and it has all the software you’re likely to need and seems to work faster than windows, and doesn’t fuck up and get all the virusses etc.
takes about 20 mins to install the operating system, programs, the lot, and you can still choose to use windows if you like.

As soon as he was suspected of [accidentally] killing a patient, I guess he would have been suspended [and rightly so].
Now he wasn’t suspended, just no direct contact with patients, isn’t it?
Now what if they would have suspended him, what if there hadn’t been a ‘fund’, or what if there had been a ‘fund’ and they had to use that for paying the bills/food etc. and after how long [?] it turned out into nothing? No charges?
What harm is done by letting him work?
What if they are really, really innocent [except for well you know.......it's said often enough].

photo compression often creates artifacts, especially jpg compression, it’s quite notorious for that. it can also create shadows that look like bruises. it is difficult to tell what is what if you are not an expert and i’m not.

i just cannot see how you come to that conclusion. it all looks in proportion to me.

that’s just a guess.

i do, it looks like it’s all in proportion, that the picture is correct both in proportion and perspective. what looks odd to me are the front of the playhouse, that orange thing and the ladders, that looks plastered on but that is probably because the sun is full on from the front.

The family tried to claim that Madeleine was lively and extrovert and “would give her tuppenceworth to an abductor” (that last bit was as sick as the McCanns have managed yet.
However, the nanny statements were that she was very shy and would only speak to children she already knew (the Tanner child.)
Of course, the strange McCann friend, Jon Corner, liked to talk about the “charismatic” Madeleine who anyone would notice…and the parents later went on about her “appeal to young and old” and other odd comments about how she would enhance anyone’s life….
As if she was a Battersea dog looking for a re-home.

I am somewhat baffled since according to the Media Guardian she has quit halfway through a 3 year contract to spend more time with her children and elderly father, but still intends to work in television according to her agent.
Maybe it’s some kind of sofa related disease?

at the time gerry re-statted his job, he was officially suspected of involement in his daughters death.
don’t know about you, but i think it’s a disgrace, and suspected crimnals should not be practicing medicine.
if they’d stopped shipman as soon as they suspected his drug addiction, it would have saved 100 lives.

So the doctors aren’t suspected, the parents are/were.
