Madeleine McCann: Stephanie Bysh And Ariella Encroach On Praia Da Luz
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann
STEPHANIE Bysh is mother to Ariella d’Gama, who has passed a while in a children’s home.
What has it got to do with Madeleine McCann. Well, get this:
DAILY MAIL: “British mother whose daughter was taken into care by Portuguese police after she ‘went out drinking’”
A British man told police that her mother Stephanie Bysh, 44, had been ‘drinking heavily’… The town is five miles from Praia da Luz, where missing toddler Madeleine McCann disappeared in May last year from a rented apartment.
Yes, just five miles.
Yesterday, it was all just 15 miles from where our Maddie went missing.
The day before that it was all occuring 25 miles from Praia da Luz.
Anorak estimates that inside week, little Ariella will be actually inside the apartment used by the McCanns that fateful trip…
Such are the facts…

Regarding the DNA samples, Chenier is offering folding money to get the email and the reports. Think I would join her to make it a bit more substantial and attractive
I think that the first results triggered the arguido status, despite whether or not the second “results” were known by that time. It’s more than upsetting that a 3rd independent test of the samples doesn’t seem possible anymore and would really like to know more details about that.
IMO it’s also possible that under “normal” circumstances they would maybe not have been taken into custody, yet would not have had permission to leave the country immediately …
It’s going over “old” ground, but hiring an extradiction expert and never going back to PT to assist on the investigation is strange, to put it mildly.

Bonjour Marie, yes, as I wrote earlier, it’s a very good article and will hopefully be picked-up widely. Pity about the “impurities”, though.
BTW have you read the comments to the article? A curious one about someone having see a small village in the Var being “plastered” with B/W posters only a week ago???

Châtelaine,
I have read the original article in French. I think Moreas makes a mistake in the timing, and he makes a mistake by saying the twins slept in the living room, as we can see from the statements. He also says Kennedy is American.
But, apart form those, there are some interesting points. Such as, had it happened in France, 13 markers are enough, and on receiving the first results form the Birmingham lab, a judge would have had to pronounce himself on what we call preventive incarceration (jail in a “maison d’arrêt”, which isn’t a proper jail, to make sure the suspects are safe and that they aren’t going to interfere with the invesitgation, pressure some witnesses, or be pressured not to tell the truth). Very scary. Second point, he asks himself if the Mcs belong to a sect, a lodge, etc… to have been able to muster so many influential people from the political, media, and business world to help them in so little time. I’ll write to him as he gives his address. Then I’ll translate bits of his article in a moment for Anorak.

Ignore the bit about Gerry - I now see where that comes from.

The Shith’s description perfectly matched Jane Tanners. How do get that to be a match for Gerry?
Their sighting was reported to the PJ about 2 weeks after the event and after they had returned to Ireland.

Apart from some other “impurities” - Kennedy being an American millionaire and the McCs refusing a reconstruction requested by Amaral - it’s a good article, which may be picked up widely as it is now available in at least 3 languages

Good morning,
Reading the Georges Moréas article [in English] I immediately stumble upon a couple of strange strange. Does this man know more than we do? Or is he making mistakes?
He’s saying that the twins were sleeping in their cots in the Living Room. Never heard of that.
He’s also saying that the testimony of a couple of Irish Tourists, who have someone carrying a child, perfectly describing Madeleine - face, hair, clothes and all - confirms that there must have been an abduction and the alert is put out. This would implicate that this statement is from as early as May 3 or 4 … Yet the only “witness” at that time we know about is Jane. And the only Irish witnesses we know about are the Smiths, who made their statements much later. And actually this statement is - later on in September - concentrating more on “recognising” Gerry …
No offense meant to the translators, but I will try and find the original French article.

Rope was filmed in one take BTW on one camera. fantastic.
the “confessional murders ” was great too.
Although by wednesday I had chickened out to just watching “murder she wrote ” cause we were all shit scared of going to the loo.

I posted a critical comment about how dishonest Sky were being in only
copying and posting and highlighting extracts of the Files and thus
giving a grossly misleading impression to their readers about the File
contents. Under the alias of Peter M….
And they posted it.

I failed my maths GCE with a grade 9. (0-10 %) Does that count Matt?
Morning all. Happy Sunday!
BF, good hol I hope, regardless of complaints to be made? I have a love/hate relationship with Tesco. I now mostly use Waitrose because it actually works out cheaper as I’m less gung-ho at lobbing tempting temptations into the trolley.
Any new translations? I know I could look elsewhere but I think Marie N is fair and honest so prefer hers. Is Mrs Websters out there yet? Mrs Penn + niece?
