A British man told police that her mother Stephanie Bysh, 44, had been ‘drinking heavily’… The town is five miles from Praia da Luz, where missing toddler Madeleine McCann disappeared in May last year from a rented apartment.
Yes, just five miles.
Yesterday, it was all just 15 miles from where our Maddie went missing.
The day before that it was all occuring 25 miles from Praia da Luz.
Anorak estimates that inside week, little Ariella will be actually inside the apartment used by the McCanns that fateful trip…

Initial statements are just that : initial.
When you and me witness an accident or robbery or whatever, we’ll both tell different things because you would remember for instance the height, age etc. and I the colours.
Didn’t you ever tell a story at a birthday and your wife interrupted you to tell you you were wrong or to fill in the gaps [according to her that is - gaps]?
Like you start “it happened 5 years ago” and she says “no dear it was 8 years ago, you know when xxx was born” or something like that?
What would be even more interesting though imo is if and when the pj asked additional questions. And what.
On the other hand: I’m afraid I agree with Pam[ela?] going over the statements won’t solve the case. Experts with access to much more information failed to solve what happened. And in case they suspect someone unknown to us, it’s not likely they’ll tell us or let that information slip out through the DVD.

For whomever suggested it, I don’t PREFER to believe that Madeleine is being abused by a “paedophile gang.” Actually, I feel relatively certain that Madeleine was dead within twenty-four hours of her abduction. Of course, I felt the same way about Elizabeth Smart, Shasta Groene, and Ben Ownby. I would love to be wrong again.

If Mr Smith and family withdrew their statement after a visit from Brian “Fingers” Kennedy…
And Mr Murat kep his head well down after a visit from the same multi-millionnaire (though, to his credit, refused the “offer of a job” if he played his cards right.
And the previous occupier of Apartmen 5A, who had interesting evidence about the shutters, and how they couldn’t be moved in the way the McCanns claimed, was ALSOv visited by Kennedy…
And who knows who else???

How odd it is that pople like Pam and Garth actually want the sort of scenario where that three yr old child was kidnapped by a paedophile gang.
Just like the McCanns…they have some odd idea that “there is no evidence Madeleine was harmed.”
