A British man told police that her mother Stephanie Bysh, 44, had been ‘drinking heavily’… The town is five miles from Praia da Luz, where missing toddler Madeleine McCann disappeared in May last year from a rented apartment.
Yes, just five miles.
Yesterday, it was all just 15 miles from where our Maddie went missing.
The day before that it was all occuring 25 miles from Praia da Luz.
Anorak estimates that inside week, little Ariella will be actually inside the apartment used by the McCanns that fateful trip…

jass -I agree i am sure there is more to come out about all this. I think I might not answer questions if my solicitor advised me not to.
And also, I just cannot practically think of a way they could hide a body and go out to dinner like nothing has happened-I think that is the bit that really makes me think-No-But I know they were wrong to leave the kids alone and their behaviour since then has not been one of self reproach-but outside blame to everyone. Also I think they should be done for neglect-But I am unsure enough not to be able to condemn them of something else….at this moment….

At the start, and for months, I completely believed in the parents, apart from being slightlu puzzled by the “They’ve taken her” comment.
Yet their responses simply didn’t ring true. How could they seem so cool, so not-anguished, when their precious child had (according to them) been stolen by a paedophile?
Then more anomalies.
The shutters. The strange idea the story had been fed to The Telegraph before midnight on May 3.
The interference by high-up British diplomats, at a time when Madeleine could well have been discoverd asleep in a awimming p0ol changing room or whatever.
(Later, the fact that the McCanns didn’t even run to their friends’ apartments to say “Is she with you?” They seemed to know - suspiciously - that she was “gone”.)
Jane Tanner’s ever-changing story/photo fit.
And so on and so on…
Blood, and cerebral fluid in the apartment.
Dogs finding cadaver scent.
Kate refusing to answer questions…yet odd leaks of info about “six corpses” and “dirty nappies/rotten barbecued meat” etc etc.
Always an answer.
How, with all this and more available on the internet (yet hidden by the UK press)…
What would any normal person think?
That this case stinks, and it is all the more disgusting because it involves a small child who doesn’t seem to have all that many (and not so many rich enough) to force out the truth.

I don’t subscribe to there being sinister dark forces behind the scenes. Occam’s razor suggests to me that they were given support and backing out of sympathy for their plight, not because of some dark mysterious cabal like something out of the Da Vinci code.

Jass-I don’t think anyone wants MM to have been taken by Paedophiles-I think though it is one possibility and again I think this case rests on whether the McCanns are guilty-IMO-of neglect-or something much worse. What do you think happened? No edge to the question-I am sure tgey are guilty of neglect and should be damned and admit it-and I think their checking system was completely ad hoch-Hmmm-and i also think they may be masons-but there is still a possibility that they are not guilty of anything else.
I am interested in your thoughts though-and I won’t say Fuck off if they’re not absolutely 103% in line with mine.
