Global Warming Quote Of The Day: The Sun Must Be Stopped
THE Earth is melting! Says David Adam in the Guardain:
Political inaction on global warming has become so dire that nations must now consider extreme technical solutions—such as blocking out the sun—to address catastrophic temperature rises, scientists from around the world warn today.
Block out the sun… We need fat pople now! Or a big ball of rock with a flag on it…

OK, I’ll let the sun off for now.

Climate change may be because of the sun but its only because of the axis of the earth in space, it sounds to unethical to block out the sun & it cant be blocked out 24/7 otherwise all life will eventually die. Besides all of that the earth will cool down as the earth moves away from the sun again like it has done before, if you look at the history of the earth & temperatures have risen causing mass extinction then so many thousands of years later there’d be an ice age. Just watever you do dont block out the sun.

Are u people really that dumb??? seriously!!! get a life and some knowledge on how this process is occurring!!

That’s clever - inacation - a static state - has gotten worse - which implies it has actually gone and done something. I’m sure it must be breaking some laws of physics in the process - naughty inaction.
Meanwhile, in the real universe; the month of August has seen not a single sunspot on the surface of the sun, something not seen since the 1930’s
Why does this matter? The Suns output of energy is not static, it varies in cycles and is well and truly in a low output mode at the moment. Lots of sunspots = Raging inferno; Few sunspots = cool running.
Why does this matter? CO2 warming contributes about 0.0000000000000000000000001% to the heat of the Earth, the rest comes from the Sun.
From 1645 to 1715 there was a period of low sunspot activity, when the Sun’s output was low. The period is called the Maunder Minimum. It coincided with the onset of the Little Ice Age during which Europe and North America were hit by bitterly cold winters and the Thames river in London completely froze.
The UK’s Armagh Observatory has been observing solar activity for over 200 years.
“The observatory notes that solar cycles 21 and 22, which were characterized by being short and intense in their activity, led to the natural global warming observed in the 80’s and 90’s.
“Cycle 23, which hasn’t finished yet, looks like it will be long (at least 12 to 13 years) and cycle 24, which has still to start, looks like it will be exceptionally weak,” writes one observatory scientist.
“Based on the past Armagh measurements, this suggests that over the next two decades, global temperatures may fall by about 2 degrees C — that is, to a level lower than any we have seen in the last 100 years….”Temperatures have already fallen by about 0.5 degrees C over the past 12 months”
Now if you still believe the global warming advocates, by all means be my guest and buy up sun block in in large quantities before demand forces the price up.
Me, I’m off to the second hand clothing stores to look for a really large mink/sable fur coat. Thanks to Peta, these are really cheap at the moment. Next on the list is several pairs of snow shoes. Come on Peta, these are really hard to find, say something bad about them please.
The world is getting cooler, not warmer:

The Clangers were always happy little bods.
What’s wrong with living underground?
I want Gordon Brown to be my personal Soup Dragon.
And Gordon - if you are reading this - You know I like mine piping-hot with crusty cobs.

That sounds like fun; still, look on the bright side.
The Large Hadron Collider may get to us first; I’m thinking of holding a party the night before…
