Seriously, first actual collision cica. oct.17,08. YES there is a sml./medium collider. The predecessor in N.Y., U.S. has already produced some interesting particles
that they are not able to fully decipher yet.

oh my god! u guys r freakn me out!!!!! funny tho, any comments left b4 yesterday >wednesday< said, this is it guys…WE ARE SCREWED… so wer all still alive, waitn on 2c if we will make it 2 christmas. i agree that the LHC will probly prove nout more than a few additions to the periodic table! (we hope) if we are goin2die wouldnt everyone rather get on with ther lives enjoys or day2day normal crap that makes us happy???

No one knows if the world was created by “the big bang” ( i guess “the big bang” was proably made up by one of the first people alive,, “oh who am i? whats goin on?”, “um i heard and bang and BOOM i was here, on earth..”)Yeah right! No one knows how we got here and we never will, if these “scientists” are that clever, they would realise its probaly just best to leave the world alone..

I am so scared right now that I don’t know what to believe. Are we going to die or not? All this news in the papers, on TV and radio is doing my head in. What is all this stuff about wednesday (today).. they have only beemed the particles 1 way around the circuit…. the first collisions are not due for 30 days… We need to be worried if we will see christmas…… but at least we still have 30 days. Chris - Leicestershire (uk)

the LHC is a load of balls- how can it possibly help human society??? i mean it like cost 5billion to make and you could have used it to like hellp loads n loads of people, - just what would this LHC proove???? - if u ask me it was a gaint mistake n waste of money

Wow how pointless.
You reckon some scientists were sitting there thinking “OMG LETS MAKE SOME CRAZY MACHINE TO FIND OUT STUFF ABOUT THE BIG BANG THAT COULD POTENTIONALY DESTORY THE PLANET, I MEAN SCREW USEFUL STUFF LIKE CURING CANCER AND SOLVING THE SUPOSED GLOBAL WARMING ISSUE{which is apprantly all a consprisary anyways go see the Global warming swindle, turns out Al Gore Manages to read a graph backward}

I mean serisouly what is the point, its going to lead to more questions, which thier going to make more risks so they can solve those questions and it’ll go on and on. If they ever did find the answr, they’re not going to like it anyway.

Surely, ignorance is bliss, most people are happier beiliving what they beilive so they come to terms with life and its meaning.

How about they stop playing god and like i said get on with stuff that could improve life, not potentially destory it [small chances as they are, but the more they do it the chance is only going to rise]

Regardless, what i just said is bound to make no difference what so ever, but hey what can you do, at least i can leave the message of i told you so to the suvivors, if they are any.
