Sarah Palin: Sambo And The Bitch
NEVER mind Sarah Palin’s hair - well, yes, mind it if you must - it’s her sense of humour that really upsets some. Here’s an accusation that taken out of context and ripped of irony looks bad. But, come on…
“So Sambo beat the bitch!”
Ahem. Are things this desperate for Democrats?
This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.
According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.
“It was kind of disgusting,” Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said in a phone interview after admitting that she is frightened of being discovered telling folks in the “lower 48” about life near the North Pole.
Then, almost with a sigh, she added, “But that’s just Alaska.”
Alaska- it’s all so white…

This is the first time I have taken interest in a US Presidential election.
It seems to me that it is irrelevant, at-least in her own State, whether or not Gov. Palin denies the rumour.
This is the result of an opinion sampling in Alaska

Here in Britain, we write to one (or all) of the major newspapers:
The TIMES, FINANCIAL TIMES, DAILY TELEGRAPH, INDEPENDENT & THE GUARDIAN.

Adam says
‘We in Britain…’
As far as I am aware Adam is Adam, in the singular.
Improbable as it may seem to him, he is not speaking for Britain, nor any part of Britain.
He is speaking for himself.
Which is just as well since the rest of us may not wish to be associated with someone who is prepared to repeat any rumour he comes across as if it were engraved on tablets of stone and handed down from the mountain…
September 15th, 2008 at 7:38 pm
This rumour was not denied by Palin or her staff.
We in Britain are certain that “hidden racism” will take a turn for the worse in the up-coming elections. A McCain-Palin victory will give out a signal to the world that the USA has not really changed. Americans will have few friends - indeed, old enmities may re-surface with a heavily armed Russia and an economically resurgent China. It is unthinkable that McCain can broker any deal between Israel and the Arabs.
Most important, an increasingly sophisticated terrorist network loyal to Osama bin Laden (note that he has not been betrayed despite a huge bounty on his head) will take its time to penetrate defences and plant “dirty” bombs in the heartland.
In short, Americans will blow their last chance in a generation to restore peace at home and good-will internationally.

I have been to Alaska and spent lots of time there. It’s not “SO WHITE” It is multi-cultural and very diverse. There are many “good ole boys” there as well as Pacific Islanders, Inuits
and Asians, blacks, etc. This is just someone’s need to say something that they feel won’t be noticed unless they put someone else’s name on it, along with a story which lacks creativity to say the least. Come on, you can do better than that.
September 9th, 2008 at 6:07 am
I almost feel sorry for American voters (all 15% of the the population… 20%? 25%, tops!). No matter who they vote for they always get a heat-seeking Republicrat! And yep, I’ll bet a yen to a shekel that the John McPain/Sarah Stalin ticket gets the “majority” nod. And they call this farcical system a beacon of democracy!
September 9th, 2008 at 3:37 am
This should be pursued by the media as thoroughly as possible. The sooner the better. If this story is true, note that intolerance by a Governer has not been so duplicated since that of the late Gov. Wallace of Alabama.

The problem with this is there is YouTube clip of her laughing while one of her rivals is called a bitch … and the woman is called a cancer…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_23HhsKOQQ
She didn’t raise one word of opposition to it.

We don’t know whether this is true or not. We can’t ask Sarah Palin any questions because she won’t talk to the press. If you read the whole article, the claim is that Palin has a habit of using derogatory language to describe Black people, Alaska Native people, etc. I think this is worth researching, and I think they could find a lot of useful information.
We know that she has very little contact with non-whites other than Alaska Natives whom she has not helped at all as governor. It is legitimate for us to ask how she will treat people of color as VP.
I don’t think this is a good sign.

Hmmmm…… you hypocritical right wingers all know that you just love it when it’s dished out against democrats, true or not, as in recent outright lies about Obama by Johnnie himself. (google it– McCain said Obama has never reached across the aisle to do any legislation– OMG- is he f-ing on Mars??? ) Anyway, when the reverse happens and someone has something to say about Cariibou Barbie, you just can’t deal with it. Typical bullies.

Plus even on the slight chance that she did say it, it is nothing compared to the blatant racism and separatism that Obama has shown. The only difference is by now, if Obama were white, he’d not gotten away with it.
He’ll be the next Hitler if elected especially with his teen special forces.
Michelle’s Boot Camps For Radicals
INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY
Posted 9/4/2008
Election ‘08: Democrats’ reintroduction of militant Michelle Obama in Denver was supposed to show her softer side. But it only highlighted a radical part of her resume: Public Allies.
IBD Series: The Audacity Of Socialism
Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, “Universal Voluntary Public Service.”
Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they’ll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of “social change.”
The pitch Public Allies makes on its Web site doesn’t seem all that radical. It promises to place young adults (18-30) in paid one-year “community leadership” positions with nonprofit or government agencies. They’ll also be required to attend weekly training workshops and three retreats.
In exchange, they’ll get a monthly stipend of up to $1,800, plus paid health and child care. They also get a post-service education award of $4,725 that can be used to pay off past student loans or fund future education.
But its real mission is to radicalize American youth and use them to bring about “social change” through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation — the tactics used by the father of community organizing, Saul “The Red” Alinsky.
“Our alumni are more than twice as likely as 18-34 year olds to . . . engage in protest activities,” Public Allies boasts in a document found with its tax filings. It has already deployed an army of 2,200 community organizers like Obama to agitate for “justice” and “equality” in his hometown of Chicago and other U.S. cities, including Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, New York, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington. “I get to practice being an activist,” and get paid for it, gushed Cincinnati recruit Amy Vincent.
Public Allies promotes “diversity and inclusion,” a program paper says. More than 70% of its recruits are “people of color.” When they’re not protesting, they’re staffing AIDS clinics, handing out condoms, bailing criminals out of jail and helping illegal aliens and the homeless obtain food stamps and other welfare.
Public Allies brags that more than 80% of graduates have continued working in nonprofit or government jobs. It’s training the “next generation of nonprofit leaders” — future “social entrepreneurs.”
The Obamas discourage work in the private sector. “Don’t go into corporate America,” Michelle has exhorted youth. “Work for the community. Be social workers.” Shun the “money culture,” Barack added. “Individual salvation depends on collective salvation.”
“If you commit to serving your community,” he pledged in his Denver acceptance speech, “we will make sure you can afford a college education.” So, go through government to go to college, and then go back into government.
Many of today’s youth find the pitch attractive. “I may spend the rest of my life trying to create social movement,” said Brian Coovert of the Cincinnati chapter. “There is always going to be work to do. Until we have a perfect country, I’ll have a job.”
Not all the recruits appreciate the PC indoctrination. “It was too touchy-feely,” said Nelly Nieblas, 29, of the 2005 Los Angeles class. “It’s a lot of talk about race, a lot of talk about sexism, a lot of talk about homophobia, talk about -isms and phobias.”
One of those -isms is “heterosexism,” which a Public Allies training seminar in Chicago describes as a negative byproduct of “capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and male-dominated privilege.”
The government now funds about half of Public Allies’ expenses through Clinton’s AmeriCorps. Obama wants to fully fund it and expand it into a national program that some see costing $500 billion. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the military, he said.
The gall of it: The Obamas want to create a boot camp for radicals who hate the military — and stick American taxpayers with the bill.

This is totally fake obviously. And Sarah’s going to get rich on libel suits.
September 7th, 2008 at 11:49 am
Ahem.
The unsupported claim by waitstaff - by someone who refuses to be named and refuses to identify the restaurant! - that Sarah Palin said something disgusting in public, is not exactly damning, as all the Democratic blogs I have seen discussing this agree. Possibly Ms Palin said something like this - and possibly she didn’t, and possibly she just laughed when someone else said it. We don’t know and we don’t have any reliable testimony about the incident. I accept that
Defending her saying it, however, by arguing that referring to Obama and Clinton as “Sambo and the bitch” would have been OK except it was “stripped of context”? Huh. That makes it sound like you believe she said it - and that you think it was funny.

Wouldn’t it be great if all of us who suspect the truth of published slander and slurs just ignored them? There are few people, much less politicians, who are pure. So all are suspect. Suspicion is fine for publication if documented. Most is not. When voicing a shared suspicion, one’s bias often shows. Refrain from gossip. Appear wise and noble.
September 7th, 2008 at 1:52 am
My assumption when I read the accusation was that it was false.
Now you’re claiming it’s *true*, but there’s some *context* that will make it… defensible?
Please, share the context.

I was in a lesbian bar in Alaska serving drinks when I overheard Sarah Palin say “all darkies should be shipped back to Africa including Will Smith but only after I get some of dat.”

Oh yeah Bill Jenkins…..I can really hear Barack saying that……
Keith Olberman is the only place I KNOW I can get the facts from.
September 6th, 2008 at 11:48 pm
Bill. Oh. My. Gawd. That exact same thing happened to my brother too!
September 6th, 2008 at 11:21 pm
Yeah, this is crazy. And did you know that really stupid people are actually listening to stories in the National Enquirer like the one about John Edwards having an affair? Oh wait. That actually turned out to be true.
If there is any validity to stories like this they will be picked up and expanded upon. If people have actually heard Gov. Palin utter terms like this it won’t be long until they come forward and talk openly about it.
The sad thing is that there is already enough damning information about this woman that no shows she has no one’s interest at heart except her own.
I feel sorry for my Christian brethren who support her; it’s just another example of how we are all like sheep and have gone astray.

“Here’s an accusation that taken out of context and ripped of irony looks bad.”
Can you elaborate on how saying, “Sambo beat the bitch,” would sound *good* if taken in context?
Seriously.
September 6th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
I personally can so see her saying this. How can it be verified? I mean she is a “pitbull with lipstick”- in essence a bitch… she said it i I didn’t. I put nothing past that woman. She is scary! OBAMA Y’All
September 6th, 2008 at 7:50 pm
A waitress named Lucille???
Oh yeah, AND part Aboriginal..
Now, THAT is a reputable news source!

When I lived in Chicago I heard Obama say that “he wouldn’t save a cracker from a being on fire by pissing on them.”
He then saw that I overheard him and he said “What you lookin’ at, cracka?” And his posse threatened to kick my ass so I left quickly.
Well, that’s just Chicago.
Now report that as fact, OK? Don’t use my name for fear out of finding me out. Pathetic. No doubt Keith Olberman will report these unsubstantiated rumors as fact.
