The delightful doggies. Eddie and Keela are sat on the sofa with me right now.

They are really fed-up! Eddie has just sworn an oath on my Great-Aunt’s Bible that neither he nor Keela have ever demonstrated a false positive for at least TWO HUNDRED cases! Crumbs!

I have just wiped Keela’s eyes again - she is so upset and cannot stop crying.

Eddie has just said that he is backing Amaral 100% if he decides to sue the Clannies for saying that he has been disgraceful in his conduct of the case.

Keela has just piped up that she could smell Amaral across the seas -the moment he got a publisher.

She said that she could smell his relief and smugness! - Because Amaral knows that the Clannnies don’t want to sue him - because the whole case will have to be on display for the entire World - and the UK government and the Establishmentites will be very disturbed - and errrrr - questions will be asked at Westminster.

I have not kept up with the news this year - Is it true that Gordie Bruney is already having a spot of bother here and there?

The Super-Duper New Labour Party - as branded by the great Middle Eastern Rectifier TB himself - when he first came to power - is in the proverbial sh*t apparently - according to Eddie and Keela.

Eddie is a bit of a political animal I think - because he has just said that he is concerned about the two Worlds colliding - you know - those two Worlds - Medicine and Politics - The one where the Medical World says ‘People will always get sick and need drugs and hospitals’ - and the Political World says - ‘But how the fuck will we ever afford to give this out to the people?’

I’m so sorry, but the only cure for colic is age. She will grow out of it soon, but it can be nightmarish in the meantime. Swaddle her very snugly and try and recline with her on your shoulder, bouncing a bit, but don’t count on it working most of the time–only when she’s truly exhausted. If you’re coming unhinged, hire a sitter or ask in a friend or relative for a night. Sleep deprivation is a dangerous thing.

Doris, did the Doctor check your wee one for Reflux? She sounds like my friend’s baby was and then the doctor checked for Reflux and gave her proper medicine for her.

Also, when one of my boys was a small baby he kept crying and gas all the time - it turns out he couldn’t handle the formula and we had to order special formula. Also if there is Iron in the formula you are giving her that could do it also, Doris.

My sympathies, Doris, I remember walking the floor for 4 months and at times ready to cry with the baby!
