International Madeleine McCann: And Eye For Denise Pipitone And Finding Rose Pizem
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “Italy’s Madeleine McCann ‘found safe and well after four years’”
Italy has it’s own Maddie. Like Isreal? Are we working throught alphabet? If so, look out Jamaica…
Urgent DNA tests are being carried out on the eight year old girl found in Greece to see if she is Denise Pipitone, who vanished in 2004. She missing from outside her grandmother’s house while playing.
And?
News of the discovery will bring fresh hope to Gerry and Kate McCann after their daughter disappeared in Portugal last year, and for the parents of Ben Needham who vanished in 1991 from the same Greek island, Kos, where the Italian girl was found.
Like Our Maddie?
The DNA tests were ordered after Denise’s mother Piera, shown photographs of the girl found in Greece, said the “shape of the eyes was exactly that” of her daughter.
DAILY MIRROR: “DNA tests on ‘Italian Madeleine’”
Madeleine McCann has been missing since last May. A spokesman for her parents said: “If this is Denise then it will give Kate and Gerry immense strength and hope that Madeleine will be found.”
TIMES: “Missing girl Denise Pipitone ‘found begging’ after four-year search”
Greek police traced the Roma woman, 34, who was charged with abducting a minor. One police official said that the girl had the same birthmark under her left eye as Denise, and only spoke Italian. She is being kept under observation in the island’s hospital. The case is as well known in Italy as that of Madeleine McCann. Denise’s mother, Piera Maggio, has made repeated appeals on television for help in finding her.
Italians know of their own missing child as well as they do of Our Maddie?
DAILY MAIL: “Girl dubbed Italy’s Madeleine McCann ‘found alive and well’ four years after she vanished”
Denise’s mother Piera, who said the birthmark and the shape of the eyes were ‘exactly the same’ as her daughter’s. She added that there had been numerous false alarms in the past, so she would not allow herself to get her hopes up.
But the media can get your hopes up for you…
Last night the McCanns’ family spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: ‘If these reports are true it is fantastic news for her family. But it would also give hope to Kate and Gerry because this is exactly the sort of situation that could prove that a child can go missing and be found safe and well.’
If…
THE SCOTSMAN: “Remains may be missing girl”
ISRAELI divers yesterday found a suitcase containing remains police believe belong to a missing girl whose grandfather is being held on suspicion of killing her.
The discovery in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon River marked a breakthrough in the case of four-year old Rose Pizem – missing since May. Her disappearance has transfixed Israel.
HA-ARETZ (Israel): “Until the next tragedy”
Faced with a suspect with a devilish face, an exciting and unusual family story, searches in the river - the Yarkon has never before raised such interest - and a murder without a body, we absolutely wallowed in this story. Oh, how we loved hearing the sexologist talk about the couple’s therapy the two lovers received, grandfather and mother forever. How we wanted to peek further and further into the “Israeli Madeleine McCann” family, which suddenly appeared in our lives; we invaded it with a mixture of voyeurism, gossip and a pinch, just a pinch, of real concern for the missing girl’s fate. Someone will make a film about it.
GREAT YARMOUTH MERCURY: “Visit church in cyberspace”
At 900 years old, a global opening ceremony for Great Yarmouth’s magnificent parish church might seem somewhat belated…
But in cyber world virtual people called avatars are teleporting into St Nicholas’ for a zoom around the vestry or even a stroll on the roof.
For the landmark building has been transported lock stock and wonky weather cock into the 3D virtual reality world of Second Life and now ranks among hundreds of real buildings turned into cartoon locations on the booming internet enterprise where 10m people from all over the world mingle.
Second Life…
Playboy has its own bunny-shaped island and British police have posted missing Madeleine McCann posters on virtual buildings.
Have you seen Madeleine McCann?

Sam
Because it would have been next to impossible without help from others, physical and verbal, and in particular someone with local knowledge. Have a look at the pic I mention in my previous post. The PJ / GNR scoured the place with sniffer dogs - inside apartments and around the locale. A hastily chosen hiding place would not have sufficed I think.

Pam, Garth, whoever…
How could this abductor leave not the smallest trace of himself?
According to the McCanns and you, he came in through the door and out through the window (or has that changed?) yet left not the smallest hint of DNA.
No smudges on the window sill.
No fingerprints on the window (apart from Kate McCann’s)
No evidence of lifting shutters (despite the McCann evidence at the start).
Nothing in cupboards, wardrobes, anywhere, despite G McCann’s hints he was in the apartment when Gerry was checking the children.
Nothing in the flat to indicate Madeleine taken …except cadaver scent and blood spots linked to the child.

Hi, glad to hear your daughter is much better, don”t you feel helpless when your baby, or anyone”s baby for that matter, is in pain?
The only way I could see of disposing of a body if it was a case of accidental death is if
there really was a Tapas 10 who left hurriedly in his Jet with the body, longshot admittedly.

Hi there, like you, I see no evidence of abduction and would subsribe more to the view of accidental death. But how to hide the body for 25 days, or keep up the deception
with possibly other people involved is the stumbling block………..will we ever have the
answer?
……………………………………………………………….
Given that nobody went back to PDL on legal advice - it is perfectly reasonable to presume that nobody wanted to risk jail for leaving kiddies alone!
So the very idea that anybody could be framed by those disgraceful PJ and accused of something even more horrid - is enough to ensure that ranks and pacts don’t get broken.
A car, van, donkey-cart, pair of legs to get to one of the latter or even a push-chair or buggy would be the general way to provide mobility away from the scen of the disappearance.
Therefore I understand the reason to be buggered as to remember the time-lines lol!

Capital doris just Capital, there is no evidence that there was not an abduction, you had better stand by for a rather volte- face from the PJ.

“An assignment for you? Please chart the length of time between when one of us says we’re going and the reappearance of clouseau?”
Pam, If you had hidden a body, this is what you were faced with the following day/s - anyone who thinks police dogs are cute should have a peek also:

September 12th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
raspcretin , yes - keep searching for a body , NO evidence of abduction
September 12th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
I record a interview gaven by Gerry, the day after Madeleine disappeared.
It was dark, evening or night, Gerry held a lantern in his hand, lighting the text he was reading to the media.
Why in dark, with the media around them?
Was something else happening at that moment, also in dark, somewhere else, and the parents were distracting everybody’s attention?
September 12th, 2008 at 9:14 pm
Val we will get the answer
September 12th, 2008 at 9:13 pm
Stop press ! no evidence no charges no suspects, no evidence that Madeleine is not of this world, keep searching.
September 12th, 2008 at 9:13 pm

the real stig why does the cover up theory imply a conspiracy ?
September 12th, 2008 at 9:10 pm
Coco x yes going to do bottles now she has dropped off - that is dropped off to sleep not dropped out of cot or bed ! shes much better now thank you , x miss you x

Mary
You have hit the nail on the head!
The principle of Occam’s razor applies - if you have two or more theories that can explain the outcome (paraphrasing slightly), you should accept the simplest of the theories.
The cover-up theory requires a conspiracy, an incredibly successful cover-up, the undetected moving around and disposal of a body in a foreign location with no local knowledge….and so on.

Iv”e been moderated yet again!!!!!! First post in two days, you definitely have it in for me for some reason. I quote the source of the interview, it is a genuine question and
answer interview and you have no reason to withhold it. As I have said before, other
posters use Blogs as their source or Newspapers so what is the difference?

I could enjoy my evening much better - if there was one teeny-weeny bit of evidence that suggested abduction - or even some finger-prints on the patio door to prove that M had dragged it open!
I am assuming that hse would not have taken gloves on holiday at that time of the year!
September 12th, 2008 at 9:03 pm
mary, i think you’re correct.
September 12th, 2008 at 9:03 pm
You are not alone in thinking IT wasn’t accidental….
“SUSAN HEALY: If Madeleine had an accident in Kate’s presence, Kate is a doctor for goodness sake, they were on holiday with doctors, the first thing she would have done would have been to have sought help for Madeleine, you know, it’s absolutely ridiculous to think that Kate would do anything else. ”

September 12th, 2008 at 9:01 pm
DORIS! Kitten! Hope baby loads better!
I’m on here briefly to see if there have been any Alien prints or DNA revealed in The Files - but apparently, there is still no evidence of abduction.
I do wish the Professor wot knows everythin’ about everythin’ would go and play Scrabble or something with people who appreciate her! lol
September 12th, 2008 at 9:01 pm
elvera , yes thats right going on piss and leaving three babies 5 nights on trot resulting in loss of one makes it neglect and a flaming outrageous crime
September 12th, 2008 at 8:57 pm
I am no scientist but have heard that time of death can be estimated fairly accurately in the early stages - that is the first 24 hrs. After that it is less precise and decomposition depends on temperature, conditions, cause of death etc. There is a place in Texas where it is tested using insects and other chemical changes and bodies are subjected to all sorts of circumstances so comparison can be made.
When my cousin died at home alone the family could be given only an estimate of 36-72hrs and the more time goes by the less precise it gets.
September 12th, 2008 at 8:56 pm
in fact , dont answer u r full of shite
September 12th, 2008 at 8:54 pm
Pam i am busy again , what a chore ive got to feed the baby , but im going to neglect her for 1 min whilst i tell you you are shot away and a complete cranky , god help any kids you have , are you bottyboysmum ?
September 12th, 2008 at 8:53 pm
According to the official definition of neglect the ‘failure to protect from physical harm or danger” could definitely be applied in Madeleine’s case also the unresponsiveness to a child’s basic emotional needs….”why didn’t you come when we were crying……”
“Neglect is the persistent failure to meet a child’s basic physical
and/or psychological needs, likely to result in the serious impairment
of the child’s health or development. It may involve a parent or carer
failing to provide adequate food, shelter and clothing, failing to
protect a child from physical harm or danger, or the failure to ensure
access to appropriate medical care or treatment. It may also include
neglect of, or unresponsiveness to a child’s basic emotional needs”
