SARAH Palin’s glasses. Sarah Plain’s hair. And now Sarah Palins f*ck me shoes:
All this, taken together, goes far beyond Maureen Dowd’s searing revelation that Sarah Palin wears shoes that are really intended for much younger women.
Jezz. Next we’ll be talking about Sarah Palin’s womb…

Maureen Dowd is a great writer but she is the essence of a civil war. I would not like to be her neighbor and listen to the monologue of hate and vulgarity that blasted forth from her four walls day and night.

I should think so too; those are just so cheap…

That’s all right. Dowd has also slammed McCain for wearing $500 Ferragamos. She’s an equal opportunity foot fetishist.

Which ‘you’ are you enquiring of?
It’s just that it’s really kind of you to enquire whether it makes me feel any better, but it would be so embarassing if it turned out that you were really talking to John M, or, even worse, Anorka himself, and I took the opportunity to write a few thousand words on whether people’s choice of footwear is a reliable guide to their fitness for high office…

I don’t think Dowd made any age-related jabs about the go-go boots. Defensive much? In today’s column she describes Palin’s choice of footwear as “bunny boots (not the Pamela Anderson kind, but the knock-offs of the U.S. Army Extreme Cold Weather Vapor Barrier Boots).” Does that make you feel better?

Not sure that Maureen Dowd constitutes the Press, and I’m deeply dubious about anyone claiming to be loyal to someone they only heard of 3 centuries ago, politically speaking.
On the other hand, f*ck me shoes are a plus point…

I love Palin. The more the press takes her down, the more loyal I become.
