i saw richard early this year walking down the street in london, and at that time i was listning to floyd on my i pod ,, i stoped and told him that i was listning to, and he said that wasa nice , that after all this time people were still into floyd, and he thanked me for takeing time to listning to him & the band . i should have thanked him , for giveing me such pleasure over the years, thank you richard and rip

I met Richard several times here in Antigua and had the privilege of sailing on his beautiful S&S swan 65 several times with the captain and mate. It will be very sad to see this boat leaving our island as i imagine the family will no longer use her. Richard was a gentleman who loved to sail what more can i say. As I sit in my office decorated with all sorts of PF artifacts, my heart is heavy and you will be sorely missed on this earth Mr. Wright. You brought so much to the enormous sound of Pink Floyd. I saw Pink Floyd in my hometown of Buffalo New York in the early 70’s. A chap I played in a band with named Doug Graham introduced us to the Floyd boys. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd changed my entire realm of music. David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, Robert Plant and a host of others influenced our lives and brought to America music that today has never been duplicated. God Bless you Mr. Wright and all of those you will join.
