If she sang (live that is) instead of the subtle name-dropping you have noticed, she’d be great. I may be spoilt, but I remember the days when a musician could drink a Russian pilot under he table, take more LSD than Timothy Leary, smoke more than Cheech and Chong combined, inject heroin directly into their brain through their fontanelle (that last one was a BIT of an exaggeration) and still write a concept album (that makes people cry and laugh and enjoy the fact that they were born human) at the same time 30-odd years later. Nice choice of the salt mine, he’ll be a Kostoglotov anyway by now, so he’ll fit right in.

I will concede that Amy’s habit (geddit?) of dragging the man’s name into any conversation, and any of her songs, is deeply irritating but she can sing.

Can’t we just stick him in a siberian salt mine and tell Amy that he’s on safari in Africa looking after rare animals?

Were it not for the thoughtless omission of the Adam’s apple, his beloved could pass for a man anyway (look at those hands - why is she not a goalkeeper?); so Blakey has likely found a partner less hard on the peepers where he is now. He might have to be the girl in the relationship now, but at least he doesn’t have to listen to his new beau singing all the effing time.
