Witch Hunting Sarah Palin And Inside With Barack Obama
BARACK Obama is partying with his celebrity backers at the Greystone Mansion, California, followed by entertainment by Barbra Streisand at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. It’s what the elite do. Says Obama:
“It’s about those who will never see the inside of a building like this.”
How do they get in, then? Do they knock, pay - it’s the $28,500-per-head Hollywood spare Change! do - or do they wait for a divine light to guide them? Thomas Muthee is knockin’ on Heaven’s door:
The pastor whose prayer Sarah Palin says helped her to become governor of Alaska founded his ministry with a witchhunt against a Kenyan woman who he accused of causing car accidents through demonic spells.
At a speech at the Wasilla Assembly of God on June 8 this year, Mrs Palin described how Thomas Muthee had laid his hands on her when he visited the church as a guest preacher in late 2005, prior to her successful gubernatorial bid.
In video footage of the speech, she is seen saying: “As I was mayor and Pastor Muthee was here and he was praying over me, and you know how he speaks and he’s so bold. And he was praying “Lord make a way, Lord make a way.”
“And I’m thinking, this guy’s really bold, he doesn’t even know what I’m going to do, he doesn’t know what my plans are. And he’s praying not “oh Lord if it be your will may she become governor,” no, he just prayed for it. He said “Lord make a way and let her do this next step. And that’s exactly what happened.”
You don’t even have to pay… You just have to believe…

A pity, that; I suggested to Anorak earlier that Thomas Muthee would be an ideal Anorak Regulator.
I mean, I’m as broadminded as the next person, but surely crab porn is a bridge too far?

Too right, Artemis. Most of ‘em are bloody in tooth and nail. I’ve got nothing against Apollo replacement and Robert Powell lookalike Jesus and his boys, but when one charlatan can denounce another just ’cause she told a few people they’d meet a tall dark stranger (in Africa) I’d go for her presumably harmless chicanery any day.

Hang on. This Pastor/witchunter led a crusade against a bloody fortune teller back in Kenya. A woman who was driven by fear of voilent death from her home after he declared her a witch on the evidence that she’d read a few f**king palms and lived near the site of a series of road accidents?
Unless she had a house full of b*stard road signs (like some dorm room in a regional uni) or was filmed standing by the road, spreading Wacky Races oil slicks out for unsuspecting motorists - then she was just some poor bloody woman who was persecuted by a credulous population stirred into mob madness by this mountebank masquerading as a man of God.
Not in itself a terrifying prospect, unless of course the possible Vice President of the most powerful country in the world gives him an air of respectability that this modern-day Matthew Hopkins ought never to be graced with.
Light up a Salem today. No, not the cigarette - they’re bad for you. There’s a spinster down there I’ve never really liked though. We can knock the transom off this cross we’re not allowed to burn any more. It’d be a shame to waste it.
[I'm off outside later to pray to Hecate for a bit - she seems nice. See if I can even up the bloody balance.]

Granted Percy, the veneer of sophisticated politics does seem to be rubbed pretty thin on both sides of the campaign. Shame really. And to think that in a matter of months our Prime Minister is going to be David Cameron or David Milliband. Shit.

So what are Ron Paul’s views on the nationalisation of AIG?
We should be trolled!

God cannot lose - unless Ron Paul gets in

I am starting to believe that Palin & Obama are both as barmy as each other.
God help us all.

Another partisan politician backed by God eh? He does seem to be spreading his bets in these regards.
Obama for president!

Which is a lot cheaper…
