Left-Wing Bloggers Love The Banking Crisis
IT’S not just the Mirror’s writers that love the financial meltdown and who wish death on the traders:
“The majority of left-wing blogs are absolutely loving the financial crisis. It’s the rapture of the marxists.”
As he notes: “Why, they haven’t been this happy since Enron“:
It’s the end-game of neo-liberalism, where only money and self-interest in terms of getting more of it matters. How can other values be re-elevated, to save capitalism from itself? And is the Yank’s version of capitalism really the one we should emulate? I hope lots of experts jump on this example to really learn from it conceptually, rather than pick at the edges of it. And I wonder whether Enron is just the beginning of the unwinding of the Yank’s economic miracle and will finally break the dominance of the neo-liberal “value system”.
Aren’t you glad you’re Chinese..?

Oh, and perhaps someone might care to explain the $8 billion dollars siphoned out of Lehman Brothers in London, just before it filed for bankruptcy?
I’m not in any rush, but PricewaterhouseCoopers is…

Whereas the right wing bloggers are having a wonderful time explaining that it proves what they have been saying all along, that the market will always provide the best of all possible worlds.
No?
Gosh, I wonder why that is?
It couldn’t possibly be because the mantra ‘government is dumb and the markets are smart and risk is nonexistent’ has been proven to be the delusional ramble of a bunch of chancers several sandwiches short of a picnic, could it?
Or that, as good money poured after bad, the right wing bloggers were urging anyone who would listen to keep on ponying on up on all those wonderful opportunities which have turned out to be the financial equivalent of plutonium waste?
I’d love a serious answer from a serious right wing blogger, but somehow I don’t think I’m going to get one.
They are too busy squeeking about the shorts in the hope that people won’t notice all that other nasty stuff…
