Stockingpiling Guns For President Barack Obama
HOW are you gearing up for President Obama? Are you joining the Barack Obama Death Cult? As the Marshall News Messenger, Texas, reports:
Gun sales are going boom around the country as gun owners and gun advocates brace for a potential Democrat in the White House for the first time in almost 10 years.
There have been some big advances in weaponary since Bill Clinton was around:
Democrats, meanwhile, say there’s no reason to worry that presidential hopeful Barack Obama would attempt to curtail access to most guns, though that hasn’t stopped the buying spree.
They buy becseue they are afeared:
Gregg County Republican Party Chairman Keith Rothra said Obama’s support for gun control has made some Republicans leery.
“Barack Obama seems to think that we’d be safer if people didn’t have handguns, and that’s false,” Rothra said. “I have heard several people say they are going to buy handguns as a just-in-case thing because they don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Obama has already been to Dallas. Are you and yours prepared for when he returns in a motorcade..?

In which case a tank would be better because you can use it to drive to work as well as blowing someone to smithereens should the need arise…

Hand guns will always stay - one of the the Rights under the Constitution. In fact, DC has had a ban on owning handguns for 30 years and the Supreme Court struck that law down months ago as unconstitutional!
I believe what is referred to in article above is the sale and owning of semi automatic Assault weapons may once again be taken away. During the Clinton Administration the Brady Group lobbied hard to get semi-automatic assault weapons banned for sale or owning under the law. We were successful and Clinton signed the law into effect on September 13, 1994. They were made illegal to sale or own under Federal law. The law had to be renewed in September of 2004. Bush had promised to sign that law when it came up to extend it. Bush didn’t! The NRA had withheld its support via money and promised votes for Bush in that election year waiting to see what he would do about the law. He didn’t do a damn thing and at midnight I believe it was on September 13, 2004 the semi-automatic assault weapons were back on the streets legally. The police from all over the United States from every state by the many thousands had come to DC to lobby the Congress begging them not to put the guns back on the street - that is how dangerous those guns are in the hands of criminals and others with blood shed on their minds. By the way the next day when the semi automatic weapons were back on the streets NRA gave its backing to Bush!

..the overriding impression given by some commentators in the good ole US of A is that if Obama were to be elected president, we would all somehow be immediately thrust into World War 3……

presumably gun control would mean not only restrictions on purchasing them but also restrictions (hopefully) on the insane idiots keeping them from actually using the damned things…?
September 25th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
they are buying up handguns just incase of what, exactly…?

I like it. Where can I buy a tank?

And, as we all know, buying a handgun enables you to know the things you don’t know before you bought the handgun.
If you bought a tank you’d know so much more…
