Solar Panel Rustlers And Recyling Is Rubbish
THE SOLAR PANEL RUSTLERS are a-comin’:
Solar power, with its promise of emissions-free renewable energy, boasts a growing number of fans. Some of them, it turns out, are thieves. Just ask Glenda Hoffman, whose fury has not abated since 16 solar panels vanished from her roof in this sun-baked town in three separate burglaries in May, sometimes as she slept. She is ready if the criminals turn up again.
“I have a shotgun right next to the bed and a .22 under my pillow,” Ms. Hoffman said.
Those warmists can be violent. Is that a solar-powered gun?
Police departments in California — the biggest market for solar power, with more than 33,000 installations — are seeing a rash of such burglaries, though nobody compiles overall statistics.
In other global warming news, it’s the middle calsses wot dunnit:
According to the researchers, people who regularly recycle rubbish and save energy at home are also the most likely to take frequent long-haul flights abroad. The carbon emissions from such flights can swamp the green savings made at home, the researchers claim.
Maybe they can get ther stuff from man in the pub and we can all be happy?

You’re right.
Damn you for condemning me to a penniless middle age…

Yes, but for the rest of the time you don’t see ‘Sexy French Maid Seeks Naughty Boy’ posters in every bloody window, do you?
It’s a waste of resources, that’s what it is, and if I could get out of this leather catsuit and put my Maid uniform on, I could make a fortune…

It’s selfish attitudes like that which are despoiling the planet.
It’s about time the government passed a law to make everyone have compulsory advertising on their houses…

Having put my details online for insulation grants about 150 times without one phone call back I had a phone call out of the blue about 3 weeks ago. They hung up so I dialled 1471 and got a strange number. Silly ol me rang it back and I got a company selling third or fourth generation solar panels, can’t remember now which it was but it was the best you can get that doesn’t rely on entirely on solar energy or the sun but on light too. Ohhh sounds great I though trying to be all green and energy efficient. The system was basically a thermos flask with a steam engine on panels. After a 2 hour long visit from their rep it turns out it costs about a minimum of 8 grand and takes about 25 years to pay for itself with the savings you make on the energy bills plus they wanted your property to advertise with and put a board up and use on their website.
I told them to fuck off out of it and not to bother me again…. So much for trying to be green I thought. It’s too bloody expensive….
