Prince Phillip will be missed when he is gone and the media will have wonderful things to say about him, and he will have a huge state funeral with lots of people lining the streets, and books will be written about him, and so on….

It’s about time that we stopped all this tripe and it’s also about time that the Royal Family were stripped of their assets.

One could fit a Hell of a lot of home-less and sick people in their comfy pads - and we could build some affordable housing in their back-gardens.

The jewels and paintings alone would probably pay off the National debt.

No self-respecting tourist thinks they will ever have tea with the Queen or bump into her in Aspreys for fuck’s sake!

Tourists come to see the architecture and works of art, to drink tea and eat scones and roast beef.

They also know that our actors and actresses take the Tube and that London is like a tiny little village so they will have more chance of seeing celebrities.

So let’s fuck the Royal Family off now once and for all and get real.

We haven’t got Micky Mouse to entice tourists - but I always had a soft spot for Zig and Zag and I’m sure they would be most accomodating.

Failing that we could put Philosphical Phil in a cage in the Tower and charge people a pound to throw wet sponges at him. He is a useless, arrogant, bad-mannered Oick.

The Duke of E speaks his mind! He is also very gracious, thankfully. Perhaps the Queen and the Duke are thinking about semi retirement, and need the jet to get around. Good on ‘em if they are.

This is what all the running around has been about! Ah, yes, keep it in the family. Prince Andrew is a fighter pilot, William, a pilot (will be eventually), Harry can keep an eye on things. Of course, Prince Edward will do very well in a job, and Sophie will too. Camilla is a good cook, Charles also flies. Where will the Duke of Edinburgh be though, he is a back seat driver!
