Never fear, you at least have some hope of escaping the Mother of All Moose Murderers on your outings.

I get the impression that even George thinks she a whacko...

I too have very little good to say about George, having lived under his tyranny for the last eight years. But I get the feeling that if I went hunting or fishing with him, and we didn't talk politics, I would probably have a good time and end up liking him personally.
Of course, the hunting trip would have to be without Dick Chaney, he's a dangerous man to hunt with.

Well yes, though I'm not sure that TB was solely responsible for this. A stonking majority and massive dissatisfaction with the Tories who had opposed it for so long did help...

Well, his language can certainly be somewhat oblique.

Scholars a century from now will still be questioning just what he meant by 'this suckers going down'...

I miss George already. He may not have been the best person for the job, but in terms of pure comedy gold, he's been pretty much unbeatable.

You have a point.

In theory I should loathe George Bush, and I do indeed loathe much of what he has done.

But I feel no personal antagonism in the way that I do to Tony Blair, whom I would cheerfully offer up as a hostage to the Somalian pirates, sorry, environmental activists, in exchange for the entire crew, and not worry overmuch about the possibility of the pirates blowing up the ship with him still on it...

I think there is a modicum of truth in this story. Bush after all has proved at times he is just human whereas some of ours just carry on their cold, robotic, steely and arrogant attitudes to further their own gains. Bush, through all his faults, does seem to have his people and their interests at heart somehow. Don't ask me why this is so it just seems to be. There must be a modicum of truth in what I say otherwise this story wouldn't exist now would it
