Police Long: Crime Is In The Jeans
POLICE Log: Anorak’s look at crime in the news…
Phillip Northmore, 25, was told by club door operatives in Plymouth that his jeans were not smart enough. He needed something less baggy, less tight, something with a crisply ironed stripe down the front.
He needed Anroak’s Comfi-Slax jeans (in British Racing Green or Harris Tweed-effect).
But with none around he felt forced to find some suitable legwear. He spotted his mannequin, pushed him into bushes and then ordered him to take off his trousers.
After taking the jeans he handed back £60 and a mobile phone to victim Matthew Oakley, 18.
Northmore pleaded guilty at Plymouth Crown Court to robbery. Sentence has been deferred for six months.
Mr Northmore is a villain, for certian, but can we not sympathsie with him, a man so keen to impress and to create the right look he was prepared to compromise his freedom?

My word, the Anorak Comfi-Slax are making a comeback? my last 3 pairs succumbed to golden retriever slobber/fur/mud and were a real bargain. Irreplaceable
