Man Tail Gates Fox
A Tennessee man named Tommy Fox crashed his car while contending with an attack from a real fox whose tail he intended to cut off, authorities say.
Horse power. Tally ho!
After the Dover man struck a red fox that had dashed in front of his sports utility vehicle last week, he allegedly retrieved the seemingly dead animal from the roadway with plans to cut off its tail for a souvenir, a state wildlife official told Gannett Tennessee.
But he said Fox’s plans went awry when the animal regained consciousness in the back seat and attacked, causing Fox to lose control of the vehicle and flip it over into a ditch.
The fox died - or did it..?

You may be right; we’ve got one of those. It’s kind of a mixed blessing.
Surrounded by the concrete towers, it’s rather eerie to watch a heron fishing in the lake.
And then you realise that the ornamental carp cost a small bloody fortune and your community charge is keeping the heron in the lap of haute cuisine luxury…

Sorry, I should have mentioned that the hawk does a runner when he spots Fully Secured Bank Funding Pigeon; we’re not sure why because the hawk isn’t talking.
It’s a bit bad when a hawk turns into a big girls blouse…

It’s recommended by vets NOT to put an injured badger in the boot of the car.
A woman ended up in hospital for several weeks with horrendous bites after the unconscious animal came round and was waiting as she opened the lid!

Actually, here in the City of London there are b*gger all deer. We do have Bears, we used to have Bulls, till they all moved to Canary Wharf, and a nice man with a hawk comes around every so often and puts the fear of God into the pigeon population.
But no deer.
Which is a shame, since we will probably need all the cheap protein we can get…

A similar thing happened here in Wisconsin but with a deer. The motorist stuck it, thought it was dead, and put it in the back seat of his car. It then woke up and mayhem followed.
This time of year they are all over the place and you have to be careful.
