Also I’m interested in the British media’s class bias and xenophobia.
And the fact that these stories are always written in a Gothic style (complete innocence on one side, a monster on the other). I wouldn’t approve of the sides being swapped and the parents being made the monsters… I’d rather the press learnt to be realistic and show situations and people with all their flaws and the contradictions.
Newspaper Gothic isn’t healthy.

Hi jo, I see you are alive and well and optimistic about Justice for Madeleine. Have
you heard of a blog by Blackwatch? I read it for quite a while and found him/her very
clued up in Politics, all kinds of things going on we never know about. Apparently, the
McCann case was a sort of by-product and the sighting in Moroccol an excuse for CR to
enter the Country for other reasons.
If I could take anyone to Court for the mess the World is in, with the Taxpayer yet
again picking up the tab, it would be these people:-
!. Greedy Banks
2. British and American Financial departments who should have seen what was
happening.
3 Gordon Brown, as Chancellor for ten years, he above all, with his experience could
have been pro-active, instead of reactive. Apparently he was told months ago by
the IMF about the escalating problems.

You’re usually abusive so I’d say you were pretty narrow-minded.
And I don’t give a crap about Amaral - the PJs obviously arsed up, a couple of Portuguese laws could do with being changed and I was never once convinced by the dogs and reserved judgement on the DNA.
My point has always been about the crap parenting choices - the dodgy explanations and shifting timelines that the McCanns have been twittering about - and the media insanity of Maddie Mania (ribbons, balloons, false sightings, Pray for her, look for her - like it’s Comic Relief night and finding a child is as easy as building a well - all you need is the money and the will).
It’s not an injustice to be made a suspect - it’s only an injustice if you go to jail.
And a stranger kidnap is always difficult to solve - even if the PJ did all the right things the chances are the man would never be found.

They are not my ‘beloved’ McCanns. Thats just your interpretation because you think im sticking up for their poor parenting when in fact all im standing up for is an injustice served upon a british couple who have been victimised by a bunch of ‘dads army’ type investigators and who have not only mislead the public but also failed in their duty to secure any evidence that could possibly lead to the whereabouts of a missing little girl.
I could quite easily say that you protect your beloved Amaral. But i dont. Im not that narrow minded.

Don “t post often because there really isn”t much to say about the McCann case, why the McCanns want to keep trying to get publicity I don”t know. the only thing I can
think of is they are worried about Amaral”s book being published in English. They
have made no attempt to sue him or 24 Horas which they were threatening to do.
How are you by the way? I honestly expected to see a thread devoted to the economic
meltdown with several posters giving their views…… but it seems no-one is bothered.

And the timeline has changed from every 20 mins to every half an hour to there was only a 15 min window for the kidnap to the man must have been hiding in the apartment to no one saw MM for an hour - and they’re responsible for that too…
I think they’re trying to avoid being questioned on their dodgy childcare arrangements and the excesses of the P.R. campaign - not on any murder speculations.
