Murat was a parent and many of the pros are quite happy to slander him even though his only mistakes as far as we know is to live with his mother, have a glass eye and to have offered to be a translator.
Like I say - I’m interested in the media story and the McCanns as people in the media and I found their martyrdom as creepy as the demonisation they might have got had they been poorer/uglier/less well connected/in Britain not Portugal/less media savvy.
