Their claim that there was an abduction MUST be put into serious doubt even in the minds of their most ardent of supporters by this !

Who are they to say what may or may not have been highlighted, they are not investigators, a previously passed over tiny incident may have led to a major breakthrough for all they know.

Just the parents alone could have assisted (In fact insisted) but no this can leave no doubts whatsoever that they never intended to turn over any stones themselves ! (frightened of what may be revealed IMO)
