Wayne Rooney’s Non-Sequitur Of The Day
WAYNE Rooney, we and readers of the News of the World learn, is “at it five times a night”.
It turns out to be “playing FIFA ‘08”, a video game that features a picture of Wayne in full rant on the cover.
After that coincidence (surely shameless plug? – ed), the NOTW then delivers one of the best non-sequiturs ever:
And it’s music that scores. Wayne has radio station Galaxy blaring in the car on the way to training—and a Stereophonics CD on the way back. Presumably it doesn’t affect him taking corners!
Anyone care to explain?

Perhaps the corner thing is some “ingenious” play on the fact that cars go around corners and football players take corner kicks.

Do the these P.R. propagandists think that men are dumb, we all know what Wanky Wayne is really doing when he tells Colleen he can’t come to bed yet cos he is trying to score against Andorra on Fifa ‘08. He is really slipping on a dirty DVD, ” Grannies with Gonorrhea”, and having a quick fiddle with his joystick.
