With the US gone soccerball cray-zeee, Day-vid now needs to bring the game to the rest of the world.
Day-vid will be brining nylons, tinned food, democracy and bananas…

Mr Beckham needs England like a fish needs water without it he cannot breath self-publicity and swim around looking for ever more lucrative endorsements and advertising deals. The label of yesterdays hero and aging has been are hardly positives for the Brand Beckham cause, hence his manic desperation to continue playing for England! It’s all about money, ego and self publicity folks, Oh and a nice undeserved Knighthood would be very nice!

Really wants to get more caps than Shilton doesn’t he?
He knows he wont get picked for England if he’s not playing regular first team football, or so Cappello said, and with the Galaxy ending their season very soon he wont be.
He’s either really into playing for his country or he’s a shameless fame seeker who just wants to get the most caps and go down in history (Arise Sir David).
I’m not sure which.
I know I would have done almost anything to play rugby for England had I been a good enough player.
