The kids get to learn some fascinating stuff: On December 18th, 1933, Mao thought it was going to rain. It did. On April 21st, 1975, Mao thought it was a lovely day. It was. On 1st February, 1918, Mao thought it was time to buy new milk. It wasn't. (For every two correct Thoughts Of Mao that are taught, there must be an incorrect one, to apply the principle of self-criticism and re-education of the masses according to the revolutionary ideals of the Chairman that necessitate the general destruction of the bourgeois running-dog lackeys of Counter-Revolutionary Imperialism hell-bent on destroying a United China and enslaving its populous for ever and a day!) The kids tend to fall asleep after the first few minutes, which is a relief. For the last few years I’ve taught a nursery class on this subject. The kids get to learn some fascinating stuff:
