Gary Kasparov’s Flying Penis Video
GARY Kasparov, former professional chesss player, is a leader of the Other Russia movement, a coalition of activists.
He’s speaking at an event in central Moscow, and his speech is interrupted by a phallus-shaped helicopter.
Video after the jump…The Moscow Times attributes the caper to “a couple of pro-Kremlin Young Russia activists.”

Ha! Oh lord, it’s hilarious: political dissent is continually crushed by a totalitarian ex-KGB agent who won’t relinquish the reins of power, and opposition candidates are regularly arrested and suppressed!
And on the rare occasion that a member of the opposition is allowed to speak, hooligans disrupt it, making adolescent silliness the story, rather than the suppression of civil liberties and of the mechanisms of true democracy throughout the country. Ha ha!

It’s very funny from the obvious angle, but it is just another example of Putin’s attitude to any form of opposition.
The subtext is probably that Kasparov is about to be shafted. Perhaps it is made from explosives and was meant to enter one of Kasparov’s orifices and explode. That would be Putin’s subtle style.
How long till we are reading of Kasparov’s elimination?
