Oh, like Angus Deyton and John Leslie? They were easily replaced.
Woss and Brand are both overpaid idiots and I hope against hope that we have seen the last of them and I never have to hear Wossie’s smug ramblings ever again, or hear the inane drivel that comes out of Brand’s mouth.
From my height I see this as a bit of a double whammy for the BBC. I think what is going on here on the one hand we have risk management. The problem has become serious so the BBC need to act seriously. It wouldn’t surprise me if there is some sort of complain-o-meter at the BBc. Whne it hits 10000 a certain level of risk management needs to take place. When it goes over that a new level needs to be implemented. However the BBc are also being clever. They know they are not going to sack these two presenters. They are far too good for them and who on earth is going to replace them but they still need to ensure that the licence payer voice is heard and that a certain amount of action needs to take place to fulfil their demands and placate them. A suspension pending a thorough investigation (my arse) is the risk management level for this amount of complaint and then on the other hand the BBc in turn gets all the publicity it needs free of charge, the presenters will be back after a period of time when the dust settles and then they will have enough material to last them a lifetime on the back of it all. Bingo!
