Thank you for laying down the new rules.

There’s no difference between the name-calling, but there is a difference between name-calling by Gov. Palin and Sen. McCain and actually explaining what they will do if elected. Speaking as a voter, I would prefer Gov. Palin and Sen. McCain did more of the latter and less of the former.

Now if only the rest of the media would draw that distinction more clearly when covering the campaigns . . . .
