   This problem was caused by the producers/editors of the show and then hyped up by the media to sell newspapers. The papers can end anyone’s career just as long as they make a nice tidy profit… how is this fair? I bet 99% of the complaints rec’d were from people who didn’t even tune into the show and heard it second hand on the net. If they are not the sort of people to find Brand/Ross funny then they wouldn’t listen to the radio show anyway so wouldn’t have made a complaint in the first place if the media hadn’t had crucified them both for us all to through stones at!

   Bring in the Taliban, cos media and other bullies won’t be happy till they have blood, all the hounding is no better than what Ross n Brand did, paedophiles get better protection from this kind of bullying in this country…

   and the papers aren’t embarrassing Mr Sachs more showing lewd pictures of his granddaughter then?

   this country’s a laughing stock in our priorities, we just seem to enjoy bullying people to the max, they said sorry, one has quit his job, the editor has quit, yet the blood hounds still aren’t happy.
   of course nobody else ever upsets anybody do they? the woman will be milking it and in the so called “celebrity big brother house” next year, see if i’m not right///

   There are far more important things going on in the world than the misjudged comedy tom foolery of this pair! Yes, they made a mistake but Mr Sachs seems satisfied with their apologies- is there really need for the prime minister and 20.000 people to be so vexed, when Sachs grandaughter and publicist Max Clifford are probably rubbing their hands in glee over the amount of exposure this has given her and her troupe ‘Satanic Sluts’?- Get a grip people!

   Clearly I posted this on a dead thread before…

   Both Brand and Ross are guilty of nothing less than crude mysogyny, running to tell the family member about the woman’s ‘bad’ behaviour; a shame seemingly so bad that they suggest that Sachs might ‘kill himself , yet pride in Brand’s conquest.

   And still Ross threatens legal action at any supposed intrusion of his family’s privacy.

   Ah but the ‘younger generation’ think it is funny

   I feel that this whole Ross-Brand deal is nothing more than english biggots littered with envy going on a witch-hunt. I thought this was the land of free speech and democracy…unless of course you are white and british…..the UK is really a supressed dictatorship…truth be told.

   Obscene phone calls are not free speech, the whole thing was a cheap and nasty schoolboy stunt, and it backfired. Hopefully Brand and Ross might grow up

   Oh come on, spotty schoolboys could have done that for a couple of quid.

   total lack of humour, smut isn’t funny, its grubby - and these are meant to be grown up men, but sometimes the difference between men and boys is the size of their bank account balances, and that is very true in this case.

   I think the whole thing has been blown out of all proportion!!!

   2 complaints on the night then 20 odd thousand as people have jumped on the band wagon!!!

   I whole heartedly support Brand and Ross and think they should be lefy alone.

   Long may they conyinue to push the boundaries.
