What a load of journalistic rubbish.

Russell Brand did this series to explore the boundaries of what are generally regarded to be given social norms. He in fact is incredibly opposed to racism and the BNP and highlighted his beliefs in the the documentry.

Iresponsible and poorly researched article.

This is irresponsible journalism. Russell was never a part of the BNP, this is part of a television show he was filming with the intent of exposing the BNP’s beliefs and practices, to give viewers an inside look. Shameful to use such a misleading, sensationalistic headline in order to draw in readers. Awful!

Fascinates me that on the actual night there were TWO complaints from real listeners.
The rest listened after the event, after the media jumped on it.
Sadly, Mark caring sharing kindly Thompson will never resign!

Who cares about famine in Zimbabwe, civil riots and genocide in the Congo and Somalia and when we can have a jolly good whinge about a radio programme?

I wish they were bored with it! People love being outraged about this - it’s a witch-hunt that no one can make you feel bad about because the victims are rich and powerful & it involves a right tart talking about her sex life & you get to read filth without feeling like a perv. cos you’re disapproving of it! Genius.

(Plus - a couple of friends of mine work for the BBC - and they ‘dislike’ Mark Thompson and they’re hoping the Mail keeps the persecution going until he resigns…. Intrigue!)

Absolute rubbish. he’s never been a part of the BNP. he filmed a documentary with the youth leader at the time. he filmed this for RE brand a series he filmed years ago, and he quite clearly condemns what the BNP member stands for.

This article is full of misleading rubbish. he didn’t ‘join’ the BNP. He met with a BNP member and disgreeed with him on his views.

No wonder you write for something as small time as ‘Anorak News’. Pathetic.
