		<description>It was their snobbery over rednecks and all their famous supporters (well, Susan Saradon and Michael Moore) that lost the Democrats the last election.

The party of the people shouldn't be sneering at the people.

Where as the Republicans - being the party of aspiration - can get away with it if the economy is ok (which this time around it isn't).

(it also bugs me the way the Democrats cover up their racist past - the South mostly voted Democrat and the most famous racist - Governor George Wallace - was a democrat - even if it was only a strategy).</description>
