Goodbye Kerry Katona, Stay in Touch Georgina Baillie
GOODBYE Kerry Katona.
After four years as OK!’s diarist, Kerry leaves the magazine to launch her own organ.
But before the first issue of Grope can reach the shelves, OK! wishes to say farewell to it’s employee with a few words and a few photos, the literal equivalent of a card that when opened plays the sound of a turkey being spit roasted Leicester City reserves.
But what’s this? OK! says it’s time to say farewell to Kerry “for the time being”.
You can see Kerry clearing her desk of tissues and squirrel hair and OK! owner Richard Desmond detailing one of his minions to shout “Stay in touch! over the intercom.
Followed by a cheery “We’re doing a Bang Bus Goes Iceland special. Call me if thing don’t work out…”
Kerry’s Diary is replaced by an interview with Georgina Baillie, aka The New Kerry…

Believe it or not, but until a couple of weeks ago I used to deliver the post to Katonas ‘bedlam’. Even had the press trying to interview me like I was part of the family. Had none of it because I am ex regiment and besides, could do without being guilty by association. I dread going round that place, theres always paps outside and she always tries to flirt with me something chronic. I will say this however. Every household within that area around Christmas time really look after me. I get food, cards, presents and sometimes the odd peck under the mistletoe. However, this year I went round and she just stuffed an envelope in my pocket and simply told me to ‘enjoy’ myself. I got home and opened it, and it was a fiver and a polaroid. Beleive me, she can get up to some pretty grim things behind closed doors.
Yeah, right - and you’re her voice coach, too. Right?
